Today while we were running supply operations to those fighting on the ground in Leeds we came across something rather disturbing.
Seems someone has built a station just outside our home at Trafalgar in front of the Leeds jump hole.
With this invading force at OUR door we are undoubtedly concerned about this strange station springing up so quickly.
We would like to know if this station belongs to you or your allies?
When we attempted to assault what we believe to be an illegal base we were stopped by Judges and a BAF capital ship flying with Colonial IFF.
They said we couldn't attack it since we don't know who built it.
Seems to me in these times of war this isn't a wise move.
An unknown station built by an unknown faction is a huge cause for concern.
We employ you to look into this matter fully and quickly.
The longer the base stands the harder it will be to remove.
I beg you to help us in our efforts to help YOU!
Thank you.

"You may commence besieging the station. You aren't obliged to destroy it, but merely to prevent supplies reaching it. We will send our forces when we are able to, if they aren't willing to surrender.
Good luck!"

Thank you for your timely response.
I'll be moving Congress vessels to intercept any supply ships enroute to that base.
Also we were told by Judges and the untagged BAF that our flagship was not permitted in New London.
Sir this ship has been critical in our efforts to hold off Gallic forces.
It is of no threat to you even though it is a capital warship.
We are only using it to protect us from our mutual enemy.
Also this same ship has assisted your forces in Leeds.
We humbly ask that you permit the .:j:.Claymore.O'Gordon to move between Leeds and New London.
At present it only makes berth at Trafalgar and Rayburn.
You folks should have access to both of those stations.
Captain Murphy who flies the Gordon has specific instructions to always follow Bretonian lawful directives.
Should he get outta line.. please let me know.
Thank you Admiral Hall.

"Your words are sound and, if my memory serves me well, you have helped us a few times during sieges of hostile stations. I even think our two battleships stood shoulder to shoulder in the siege of an illegal base in Southampton debris field. I would like that to happen again.
But later. In these 24 hours, you are only required to keep the shield of Border Station One up, averting any suppliers from docking, so I don't think a battleship would be necessary. I would still not object to the Claymore protecting our space. Her passage is allowed until further notice. I will inform the Armed Forces not to halt her."

Greetings again Admiral.
While as you have heard the station was destroyed.
I must tell you that while we did follow your instructions to siege the station.
Other groups attacked this station as well and pushed it further than you instructed.
Of those we encountered the Gallic Royal Navy was some of them.
With an over whelming force they would rush our ships including the Gordon.
After dispatching us and those working for us they would turn their bombardment onto the station.
We have guncams of their assault on the base taken from one of our recon ships stationed at Trafalgar.
Of course we will send you the footage if you'd like.
Now you mentioned..
Quote:In these 24 hours, you are only required to keep the shield of Border Station One up, averting any suppliers from docking, so I don't think a battleship would be necessary.
So I thought I'd show you just why it was indeed necessary.
Even with the additional firepower offered by our flagship it wasn't enough to detour Gallia.
Furthermore the Gordon offered to stand down knowing it was out gunned.
This was the response..

Also you requested..
Quote:I even think our two battleships stood shoulder to shoulder in the siege of an illegal base in Southampton debris field. I would like that to happen again.
Well sadly that was not possible due largely in part to this..

Now as it is sad the Gordon fell trying to defend itself I am happy to report our forces along with Judges managed to bring down the RNS ship.
Also I am pleased to tell you while the fighting continued our salvage fleet responded from Trafalgar and managed to haul large portions of the Gordon to the base.
As we speak our top engineers are working to restore the vessel back to battle ready conditions.
What was somewhat troubling was during our siege of the base we got questioned several times by those loyal to Bretonia on our presence in New London.
I can only hope you can see by our footage that the Gordon is needed in the effort to defend our homes.
If its not too much to ask can you please add the ship to legal warships allowed in your house space.
Those that questioned us had trouble finding this communication giving its high level of encryption.
A formal posting on your registry should clear up any doubts on our legality operating in Bretonia.
While that one base is gone the threat is far from over.
I humbly ask and of course will comply with your laws.

Thank you for your time.
Your brother in arms.
JT

"Thank you for your information. It is not really cheerful, but I doubt there is anything we can do about that.
Good bye and good luck."
