Just interested in people's general opinions on it...

Also feel free to elaborate or tell what you voted.

Hm... is it possible to make 5 different polls in one thread with 3 options each?

I was trying to make the poll with the question below.
Maybe you guys can answer the 5 questions such as 1b, 2b, 3b, 4c, 5b

b) I am generaly interested in playing as nomad, but have found the current nomad RP directives to be too constraining and impractical

a) should be unlimited
b) should not enter house space but can go anywhere else
c) should stay in the omicrons
d) dont care

4 Indy nomad ZOI
a) should be unlimited
b) should not enter house space but can go anywhere else

d) shouldnt exist

5 Rules of engagement
a) must ***RP*** before engagement, everywhere
b) should be allowed to engage without ***RP*** in the omicrons, because often no RP is better than ***RP***

I had a nomad named Silence a while back. It did not talk at all, only would appear, cause panic, make lawfuls gather, RP, lock down systems, make them escort every civilian around and be paranoid as hell, and generally be a sort of backdrop to RP in that particular system, rather than outright do it, so to speak.

I was pretty happy with the outcome.

I like how the usual nom RP works, but there is always room for improvement. I voted for two. We had the nomspeek for a while now, but as other roleplay evolves, nomads should not be forgotten. Upon reflection, I think I would not mind seeing something out of ordinary like Spud, heh.

As spazzy said, there is always room for improvement. But that improvement should be based on things that are already there and it shouldnt completely ignore those longstanding things.

Though your poll is very limited. I think it needs slight adjustments, not an overall change.

2. As for the questions you've presented, again, limited. I have played as a nomad but I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I do, however, enjoy interactions with them most of the time.

3. K'hara ZOI shouldn't be limited what-so-ever - they are the main antagonists of Sirius, bringing some tentacle RP to everywhere is nice.

4. Again, very limited and IMO - wrong perception. I think indy noms should be allowed to run freely around the lolicorns and as such to engage there at free will, and same for systems that have a nom base in them or are directly connected to systems with a nom base in them.

Otherwise they shouldn't be allowed to engage but in self-defense. No, not even in the defense of other Nomads.
This will also allow to get rid of the morph ID.

5. C - I honestly don't care that much.

yes IT was purge and you destroyed them. Old nom rp was gold, Current lacks the motivation and imagination of the players.

Ugh.. not to duck the opening question, I dont see any problem with the nomads atm. But, I can hardly feel nomads in discovery, due to the fact that they no longer seem "dangerious" - and I don't care how much backup it has inrp, I feel no threat when I find them, which is sad - because you have lost that mysterious atomsphere, keepers had that sensation going, or dare I say - phooms, now Its even more dangerious to arrange my socks, sorry.

Were fools to make war on our brothers in arms.

I think nomads players (and Im not one) should be allowed to go anywhere, anytime and attack anyone with no RP. I think the game would be allot more fun to have that "here comes death" aspect that it is lacking now..

Of course I know this would never be allowed but it would be cool to see a fleet of nomad BS's, GB's and fighters enter a system and terrorize the hell out of everyone... It would at least give that "something bad can happen at anytime" feel that I think the disco world really needs.

But like I said, that will never happen.

Dunno, if that was the case, then I would instantly make a group around it. Last time I gathered 42 players, when making a barghest squad faction. Just imagine that with a nomad ID. Some thing just should not be possible for the general public.

Maybe not the general public, but say allow 10-15 players (all the current ones now maybe) with all sorts of nomad ships do it.

It would be nice to have something to truly fear in the game, like when 15 nomads enter the system you are in, and you know theres no RP, no quarter to be had, if they catch you... you are dead.

Now that would be awesome!
