Greetings community, I come lately Having problems with skype.
I got tired of seeing tutorials, videos on youtube, and no solution, I run it and the program never opens.
Any solution? Posting this for the simple fact that I want to be part of some factions calling here but all the mandatory use of the program, in addition, i'am from Argentina and I'm not too well speak your language.
I want to know if it has a solution and if I join any official faction without the program.

The problem is that when I run the program does not open, the process appears in the task manager of windows, come to wait 40 minutes for the program opens but nothing happened. reinstall thousands of times and the problem persists
After uninstalling skype, purge the following folder:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Skype
Then make a fast fix-pass on registry with CCleaner.
Try reinstalling after that is done.
Remember to run it with administrator priviledges, it also tends to fail when it doesn't have them.
Also, latest skype updates tend to fail a lot in certain machines, try to install some older version if the cleanup doesn't help.
I had simmilar problems...
My self used several accounts on Skype, one of them is for Freelancer only...
And some 6 months ago problems started.
Fl crashing,accounts not responding...
I contacted customer service, they suggested I cancel one of my subscriptions, which I did,but then mandatory time was 90 days to wait until I can make a new one.
Recently,my Fl crashed during talking others and also messaging, again I was suggested to re-instal Skype.I did that to,But my god, problem does not persist.
I face simmilar problem,I wan't to join some official factions, but Skype is mandatory, and I'm practicaly without it.
I use it when I'm loged off FL,but during the game I really can't use it.
I wish there i some kind of substitution for the infernal thing...
It usually is, yet I do not understand why to use skype as an standard (at least if they only plan to use text, if they need voicechat, that's another thing)
I personally think that factions could use a private IRC channel instead.
IRC might be one of the most light chat systems ever.
By the way, if Skype really becomes a 100% mandatory requirement, you still have an option!
Hotmail has a web-client that connects to your skype if you link your mail with your skype account. You can try to use that instead if skype keeps failing for you.
