Pavel walked the street. It was a late hour and all the honest folk have locked, barricaded, welded, and then locked again just for certainty, their homes.
Not that Pavel would mind such an hour, no. And as such, he walked the horrifically silent street and at a quite eased pace too!
And then he saw - it. He knew that when you see it, it's all too late now. No turning back, no other thought.
The only sound that one could make seeing this monstrosity was a very deep, yet quiet "Ough".
But there it was, standing firm in front of him. At first he could not believe his eyes, and so he scrubbed them a few times. Not that it helped of course, for Pavel was not imagining. He saw it damn good.
