A couple of days ago, we had an unfortunate run-in with <****************>. Had his status been revealed sooner, I believe things could have been sorted in a much more peaceful manner.
Please allow me a minute to clarify the situation.
1. Order Ships:
First off, I would like to apologize for the unauthorized use of your ships.
We were sadly ignorant of the fact that we had to have any official permission.
It was never our intention to cause trouble or dishonor your cause. We chose the <******> simply because we are familiar with the design and operation of the vehicle. Some of our employees have invested much time and resources, supporting your cause by doing odd-jobs and donating money, which we thought was the acceptable way. Additionally, we have been questioned by one of your associates, who let us continue our travels, which again, we thought was sufficient. Our employees might have been testing another ship at that point, though.
I would like to assure you that we have not engaged in any offensive actions, which could incriminate The Order, except defending ourselves against the Nomad scourge and the occasional mindless drones.
After being informed of your rules, all missions involving Order craft have been suspended, effect immediatly.
2. Nomad Artifacts:
We know how much your organization have suffered under the Nomad infestation, but our belief is that in order to know our enemy better, we MUST study them thoroughly. In this particular case, we of course should have handed over the items, as neither of our ships had educated scientists abord. Our company policy is to research and analyse in controlled environments, not to do high-risk experimentation, which might fail and release the infection once again.
Once again, I apologize for the trouble and confusion. Our company has been through a period of extensive testing and the reason we have not gone public yet, is an unexpected delay in finishing touches on our profile and design.
We would like to get things set up properly, before any announcement is made.
I hope that you can forgive this mistake, as we do not wish a breakdown in relations with your organization.
We have found that your line of ships fits our needs the best and a ban from Order space would be catastrophical in regards to our expected area of operations.
We ask for your permission to carry any and all cargo in Order space and to use your ships for purposes not conflicting with yours.
Fully encrypted transmissions would be required to hash out the exact conditions of this agreement, if granted.
Lastly, I ask of you to not let this mistake reflect on any other Zoner. We acted independently in this matter and take full responsibility.
Sincerely.
Keioff Xanjer - Head of Public Relations, HoX
P.S. English is not my primary language, so please forgive any errors in spelling or expressions.
/Edited for right destination, left the other error as a testament to my ignorance. Sumimasen!
Encounter with never heard of until now group, attempting to harvest Nomad technology while utilizing stolen The Order hardware sincerely would yield answer less than unfriendly on our part. Your lack of knowledge concerning The Order's specific objectives and other regulation shows you are incapable to handle harsh environment of Omicrons, putting your endeavour in great jeopardy as it is. The Order R&D department is well prepared in the role of greater understanding behind alien threat.
The Order is not acknowleding lawful status of any organisation handling Nomad materials without The Order's consent and supervision. All of the major, well established Zoner groups are unable to effectively research Slomon K'Hara specimens without our assistance. That saying, we do not believe you have the capability to do so on your own and I have to officially ask you to cease any current and future attempts at xenoscience.
With all those concerns, we cannot authorize use of The Order ships with your "corporation". Any further sighting of those craft in your hand will be dealth with lethal force until we see confirmation that all of your craft have been replaced by non-Order equivalents.
In addition particular regulations broken by you have been attached below. Technology theft not included, since you already acknowledged it to be mistake on your part and will adjust accordingly.
The Order Nomad directive
All ships, which do not fly with correct Zoner or Order ID signals and are caught hauling nomad remains of any kind, will have their cargo confiscated.
Ships signaling the correct Zoner ID are allowed to transport small nomad remains to research, but not more then 10 units.
Transporting nomad remains of gunboat or even battleship size is off-limits to everyone outside the Order and will be confiscated if caught smuggling.
If said bigger remains are needed, the Order High Command has to be contacted first for approval.
Using weapons of nomad origin is off-limits to everyone outside the ranks of the Order. Should we find such a ship, the weapons will be confiscated on spot.
Any ship which is caught violating these regulations and disobeys our commands will be destroyed without mercy!
Contraband directive
Following items are considered contraband by The Order
We thank you for your consideration and leniance in this matter.
I sincerely apologize for the misuse of terms. A lot of information had to be processed in a short amount of time and mistakes happen. This was quite a grave one.
Let me point out, that our ships were not harvesting Nomad remains, but merely carrying what was left after an attack on us. I do, however, aknowledge that we do not yet have the facilities secure enough to perform the intended analysis and tests.
As of this moment, all bio-science projects, involving any alien remains, have been put on hold indefinitely.
As a token of good-will, the company would like to offer The Order all Nomad remains obtained by employees of HoX.
As mentioned, all missions involving Order craft have been suspended. They will remain docked at undisclosed locations and the no-fly order will stand for all pilots. The trouble with having self-dependant employees is, that they can be difficult to control. Some would rather quit their job, than being forced to sell a ship they hold very dear. These individuals will, however, still adhere to the no-fly order. When they have found a suitable replacement and are ready to let go, we will notify you a.s.a.p.
Concerning your regulations, I thank you for enlightening me. During my law-studies, I could not find any information on that subject. I might have overlooked something though, in which case I apologize.
We have no interest in either of the mentioned contraband.
Please do not interpret any possible transgressions of the Contraband Directive as a sign of ill-will.
Our pilots can sometimes be absent-minded and as they often carry many obscure items, something can be overlooked.
We of course accept any consequences, since we would potentionally be in conflict with your regulations.
The company is still busy, testing and learning, but it was not our intention to test your patience.
We hope that relations are not to badly damaged and you will consider us as non-hostile.
Regards.
