Can you suggest some of them to me?

The most anti-cap loadout and the most anti-snub loadout also things in middle of those two...

Just haven't actually played the game since 4.85 so would be good to hear it from experts.

Thanks in advance,
Vex

The most op load out is 3 cerbs, 4 prims , and 2 Flaks + 4 Secondaries
For long range , get a mortar + 2 cerbs, both work good against caps.

I suspect Cerbs + Primaries + Secondaries + some Flaks is a solid loadout.

But this is coming from someone who's only ever flown a Valor and a Marduk in his Disco career, so you might want to just ignore what I said.

Damn, i used to fly full Primary plus 2 mortar & 2 Pulse loadout

Worked good enough, also i've never used flaks, so i take it they are anti-snub like gut?

Sort of. For some reason I rarely run into caps that effectively use their flaks against snubs, but it's not that hard to do. Their primary use however is knocking Novas away from you to survive longer against bombers.

Exactly. Always keep 1 or 2 Flaks to kick the Novas away, or else you are helpless against Bombers.

Also don't forget to position those handy Flaks to cover 360* degrees around your ship.

I don't fly an Overlord, but I do fly a Dunkirk, which is very similar. I have a versatile loadout, consisted of 2 cerbs, 1 mortar, 3 prims, 1 pulse, 2 flaks and 5 secondaries. I would recommend something else to you, though, as I am keeping it just as a tradition and because I like mortars.
If you intend to fight Valors, I recommend you to mount 3 cerbs, 2 prims, 2 pulses (prims are less energy effective than cerbs, which drain your energy anyways in the number of three - it could be useful to take some of your opponent's shield down while they aren't yet in cerb range. Can be useful against cruisers, too. You're keeping those 2 prims in case you happen to need to deliver some extra damage in a short burst, and because only 2 of your cerbs can fire backwards), 2 flaks and 4 secondaries. The Overlord seems as she isn't meant to deal with snubs, so you'll be acting purely defensively there in most cases, whatever anti-snub guns you mount. Secondaries should be the best just because you won't even scratch those bombers with 4 petty sols, while you need 2 flaks to cover your 360° sphere from Nova torpedoes. Not easy to evade them in a battleship if you can't divert them with flaks, while CMs are limited and they don't always work.
I could also show you an anti-Valor technique, or an anti-bomber formation in conn if you'd like. You can find most of my chars on my profile. You can also ask BAF|A-HMS-Kite. He's as good as me against Valors, if not better.

Also is there a place for Navy battleship or gunship missions?
