I am wondering if I can attach a J.D to my mining ship it's a Hedemon and if I can does it require fuel ( I think it does if I'm not mistaken?) I have the $$$ but is it possible?
Thanks
It is possible, the space and space for fuel. But you wont have enough powercore, which is very high for a JD,that you need something above battlecruiser to get a JD to work.

Thanks for the reply I won't get one but another question how do I increase my power out-put? I'm a little lost on that one no references to it? Thanks again

Well wouldn't that be like taking a 2013 F250 pick up and taking out the engine and replacing it with a high performance "Crate V8" high performance engine, it's all in the tweak and tuning to get it just right. I want to teak and tune for best performance flight and speed but excellent performance in all
As interesting as it would be, there is no "tuning" of the 74 (I think) types of ship power cores by players. Take a look at FLStat for the latest values, or the wiki, but some entries are outdated. In order to mount a jump drive, you need an equipment slot for one and the following:
Series II (Small personal, 60sec charge): 900 cargo space; 3,600,000 Power Capacity; 360MOX/420H-fuel
Series III (Medium personal, 30sec charge): 900 cargo space; 7,000,000 Power Capacity; 360MOX/420H-fuel
Series IV (Large group, 200sec charge): 1,200 cargo space; 7,000,000 Power Capacity; 2400MOX/2800H-fuel
So the smallest possible ships you can use are certain battlecruisers. However, with the 900 space requirement, you won't have much room for armor and fuel. I have used battleships with personal drives in the past as an effective escape mechanism, but for group drives you must have the necessary fuel dropped in space and tractored in slowly due to the lack of cargo space. The idea is probably that only advanced military vessels would be able to sustain such powerful technology.
Also, I think the only way to swap jump drives on/off with limited cargo space is at a POB, so be mindful of that too.
