//I know. The grammar must be terrible. Sorry for that.
Red and yellow. A graceful combination of colors. The color of her eyes, reflecting on the glass, as she is looking through the window. Gazing the ice clouds, watching space crafts as they slip through the ice clouds, knocking some asteroids away. Twenty minutes later a call came in, interrupting the peaceful moment.
„Konichiwa Saeki-san.” A rather calm male voice greeted her through the comms. „ The heritage. You should’ve contacted us years ago.”
„ Heritage? Years ago?” she asks. „ And who are you, if I might ask?”
„ Names are not important. A blood dragon, that’s all you should know.” He fell silent and for a moment, Kurumi was silent too.
„ Under yours mother’s will, you are to inherit a blood dragon gunboat class vessel...” The blood dragon continues. „…We were unable to locate you, as we thought that you were dead.” There was a long silence the blood dragon carried on. „ So, I’d like to ask you to continue. Think of it as your mother’s legacy.”
„Continue? I won’t. She is gone. What I want is to make THEM gone. The ones who have killed her. The liberty navy has to suffer.”
“The said ship will be will be waiting for you at Kyoto base. Dry-dock 6.” The call ended.
Kurumi stood there for moments. The horrible memories felt like freezing raindrops to her mind. The childhood memories flashed through her mind. She wanted to be back there, when it happened, and prevent the murder of her parents. Her parents were killed on that gunboat. That gunboat was waiting for her, with the memories which she couldn’t be avoided further.
The details were sent to her, she have read through the data. The cargo hold also contained an amulet. “An amulet… Could it be…?”
It was already night. She couldn’t sleep, even if she has wanted to. Pictures were flowing through her mind. Blood. Gunfire. Death. Tears were rolling down her cheeks, and she cried till she fell asleep.
The next say, she woke up, feeling exhausted. It took an hour for her to get herself together. She have packed a few things, and then left for her ship, which was moored to the station. The engines started humming gently, as she has started the engines. The screens, and lights came alive, the navigations computer too. She set course to Kyoto base.
Minutes later, she was en route.
