Actually nevermind. I originally meant to post this elsewhere. But being the least considerate, I guess I simply decided to do it it's own thread. It just made more sense, I suppose. And I felt like clarifying the crap that I wrote before.

Exactly what I mean. This is just so horrid I really can't even think of what to do myself, or even IF I EVEN WANT TO, in order to "possibly" help this god forsaken place rise up from the deep abyss it's fallen into.
Now. I don't want to start a flamewar or anything. But it's still a valid point to me in this post. I don't see it being worth anyone's time most of the time it's just a dramafest after another after another and after another... It's plain annoying and stressing to some people. Who actually would like to play this game without any of it.
You could actually ask the same question I saw in another thread before. What is keeping you in disco? Or why exactly do you play it?
Maybe some would say: "But it was so much better x and y ago."
To me, I would simply ask. Well why isn't it good anymore then? What happened that made it so much worse?
Ehh.. rants aside. (Which seems to be the only thing I can do right now.) I am highly pessimistic, which might explain my attitude towards this whole place. But it seems to be better than being optimistic to be quite honest...
It only took me half a year or a bit more to start disliking this whole thing.
Half of the RP is plain PvP. Some are just worthless. And very few are even fairly good. Now, I do not meant to bash on people who PvP, as It can be fun to do that too. (If only lag wouldn't be a problem.) But if it's only that in-game. It gets REAL boring, REAL quick.
If people would be serious, maybe this mod would get some of it's life back.. Perhaps.. perhaps not. I'm still voting on the latter.
As far as it goes for me, I've taken a crack at it for a brief moment, helping with NPCs a few years back. While working with the person at the time, he simply told me that there are tons of people capable of working on the devteam and having the skills with the tools they use. The thing is, every dev wants something of their own ideas to be put in the mod and usually leave when they realize they aren't getting anything out of it.
My two cents, Disco hasn't died yet. So something must be going along the right lines. Go figure.

Go figure indeed.. And If you ask me. I doubt I'd have the imagination or time or willingness to even TRY implementing something of my own. But I guess I can do what I'm told, or think of.. small things? HECK IF I KNOW.
