As a decent photoshop user i have to say the concept is nice, thus all the effect are thrown in there like you just got them from the internet..
Here are some tips that should help you:
1. You should look on internet and check some vids up..
2.Not put as many randers and files there and hope nobody will see them.
3. A signature look nice with a decent number of effect.
4.Blur and blend some layers...Get creative and stop using smoke
5.Don't put random colors in the sig because you like the color.Use colors that will blend and give the final project a nice feeling .
6.Diverse your work with some new renders , try using discovery-related renders..
Keep up the good work mate..You will get better at it...
P.S i am not a master...But decent.
1. Too cluttered, the subject is blended in but way too much.
2. Text is unreadable and clashes.
3. No flow to it, just randomly placed stuff to make him look powerful.
Only problem i have with the guy in the middle is that he is looking to the side.
That means that the composition is directed to the right and then you only have the left with words to fill it.
IMO it doesn't look balanced. It wont matter were you place the words.
But thats my 2 cents.
In terms of color... i dont mind it too much. maybe make some parts sharper and other parts less.
EDIT:
if you take the words out and move him a tiny bit to the right ... it should work too
