I know where your little station is, and I have some people that like to blow things up. I suggest you tell me who and what you are, before I let Relitto out of his cage.
I apologize, but you transmission was delayed getting to my desk.
I am Dr. Ron Kosher, and I am the director of the IMG Research Station. I represent a small group of researchers, independent but loosely affiliated with IMG.
We perform research in mining ore and in metals extraction from mined ore. We are currently working on producing a more efficient graviton based mining array to improve the yield of Niobium ore mined from asteroids.
We had been operating out of Falkland base in Tau-37 to perform our research from the data we collect in Tau-23, however, the jump hole wreaked havoc on the calibration of our scientific instruments mounted on our mining vessels. This required constant re-calibration, which is very time consuming, and is seriously hindering our research efforts. We investigated migrating our work to Java station, but they neither have the necessary facilities nor the power requirements that we need for our equipment.
We came to the realization that we would need a custom base built in system to effectively continue our efforts.
We don't have a quarrel with you, and we placed our base out of the way so it didn't interfere with other's daily lives, but still allowed us to avoid the issues with jumping to adjacent systems. I would ask that you reconsider your plan to attack our base, as we surely can come to some kind of agreement.
Respectfully,
Ron Kosher, Ph.D

Wont interfere with our lives? You're wrong, another station for the Miners to hide behind is a problem. Anything that takes influence from our own system is a problem
There is no one hiding behind anything here except for you behind some ridiculous dogma of hating IMG. I don't even know who you are and you are about to attack and destroy our station. I hope when you tell the story to your children you include how you bravely attacked and killed 100 unarmed engineers and scientists and 100 unarmed support support personnel. I am sure everyone will be impressed....

I had never encountered one of your ships before today, and it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I had heard of your group from visitors to our base, and I see your reputation is well earned...
When the assault on our base commenced, I launched and I attempted to talk to your force assaulting our base, I was destroyed with little concern. I was lucky to survive the ordeal. I floated in space for several hours before you broke off your attack and I was finally rescued by one of my colleagues.
I familiarized myself a little with your organization, and I see that your people have had quite the troubled past, and in some ways I sympathize with you, although I of course don't approve of your criminal ways.
I don't know what caused you to finally break off your attack. Our sensors were damaged in the attack and by the time we got them online, the area was clear. However, I urge you to find a more fruitful use of your time than harassing on some scientists. There is no benefit in harassing our base. I am willing to find a peaceful solution to this disagreement if you are.
