Since yesterday evening, whenever I connect to the server and enter as one of my characters, it immediately starts lagging out, and disconnects me for connection loss.
One of the ships is near Shinagawa for example, and the game show my ship in space, but I can't dock or go anywhere before the game disconnects.

This problem is also affecting my other accounts.

Yesterday I might have switched too fast between some accounts while playing, which might have triggered some suspicion from the anti-cheat system. I would like to ask an admin to to examine this situation, and assist me in resolving it, because I am unable to play in the server like this.

I second this, it seems like one of the game files may be corrupted, and theres may ways for this to happen (even with normal system files, corruption just happens).
So yes, back up and clean install, should clear up the issue. If not I'd get a hold of an admin and investigate further. Good luck!

Seems this problem appeared again. This time the trigger was one of the recent server crashes.

The symptoms are the same. When I log in any of my characters (of all accounts), I appear ingame (planetside/ in space), but have no connection to the server, the ping command showing "n/a" in all indicators, and the red signal appearing in space too. After 10 or 15 seconds, it declares that I lost connection.

I have tried a reinstall of disco, using its unistaller and placing the new install in a different folder.

Characters affected are the same as in the first post.

Edit: Reinstalled disco and tried to connect to another server, and got the same results, so most likely its some flaw on my part. I haven't reinstalled freelancer yet, so I'll try that next.

After a clean install of both Freelancer (does it need the vanilla patch?) and Disco up to update 6, I still get the same problem.

I tried to log in with the following characters, at around 9p.m. server time (10 minutes before this post). Can any of the admins check if there was any record of the anti-cheat on this characters?

Kishiro|Tengu (in Leeds I think)
[KNF]Nk.Katsuo.Shimoe (Hokkaido)
KDS-Taka[KSP] (Shikoku)

I appreciate any kind of feedback on this matter.

I have it too.

What Ido is to have a empty slot on every acount and create a new character, then change character. I don't know how or why it works. But it does at least for me and my brother.

This user talks little to none english. If you find something wrong tell him.

To make really clean instalation, go to regedit and find all Freelancer entries to delete them.

( Just in case you need to reinstall again )
