To be honest,
their recent moves and claims made some of us in the department nervous. Even more with Daumann not trying to object the claims about Omega-9.
I will have to trust you there is ein gut reason for this, as Omega-9 is out the Polizei`s reach. As such, our hands are officially bound by the laws of Rheinland.
Moreover, you may have noticed a complaint from a group called Junker Marauders.
Right now we are still investigating this matter. Komissar Steiner is tasked with this issue. You don't know perhaps ein few more details about this incident, Herr Pokomi, do you?

Fact we didn't involve ourselves directly into recent Omega-9 events doesn't mean we have no knowledge on the system. It was scouted few months ago and revealed little to no value. If Guild finds some resources however, our specialists believe it won't be able to efficiently extract it without diverting workforce from Bretonia or Tau region, what would result in at least partial collapse of their mining operations there. Current political situation may be dangerous if we let ourselves be driven by mere direct competition, but even with that Omega-9 isn't lost.
After all, if resources are discovered there we can always claim the system, just like we did with Omega-7. Small loose confederation of miners wouldn't be able to prevent House policy; and now we have Schwerin outside Freistadt too. *grins*
That incident, JM| group was Daumann customers for some time now; they sometimes buy ore from us. It's surprising to see them getting attacked by IMG forces inside Rheinland. Shouldn't such attack be punished? Moreover Inspector, I believe those Junkers could be of use for us. You know Junker background is questionable, they are shady people with shady business. I wonder what if those JM were silently allowed to harass a bit small annoying thorn in our side, which is tolerated for the time being.
Speaking of which, I believe they make problems not only for us but for Police too, and for the entire Rheinland in general, Inspector. Their neutrality with hessian terrorists puts our miners at disadvantage, notorius docking protocol hackers landing and launching from Freistadt, taking away some resources which could be used better for the greater glory of Rheinland and its people... Their Omega-9 agressive policy started right after Daumann's attempt to improve Omega relations between business competitors; we more or less forgave them ore theft by one of their new pilots. We know how to read the timing and the wording, and Daumanns always pay their debts.
We have never liked IMG, but for the greater good which peace in Omega-7 is we didn't do them any harm since the last turf war. With their continuous hostile policy, Omega-9 included, they've ended that. We will hurt them for this. We don't exactly know how yet, but give us time. A day will come when they think themselves safe and happy, and suddenly their joy will turn to ashes in their mouth.

Nun, Herr Pokorni,
are you really suggesting that the Rheinland Polizei should turn a blind eye on the fights between those Junkers and the IMG? So far we can ignore anything that has started outside Rheinland controlled space, but it will be rather difficult for us to do so in Omega-7 for example.
I wonder if the Junker Marauders are more than just mere customers of you company, Herr Pokorni. Am I correct?
Though I must admit, the recent evidence shown by the Junkers tells me that you might be correct about the aggressiveness of IMG. And you don't need to remind me of all those...accidents with Hessians being able to dock at Freistadt.
Perhaps it is really necessary to remind the IMG about their place within Rheinland. Though the Rhenland Police cannot and of course will not openly counteract the independent miners. We already have to deal with too many scandals, there is no need of another one.

Inspector Schmarn, naturally I understand your position. It is often thing in our times we cannot openly do what we want and should, due to various limitations.
But should this mean we should stop fighting for our cause, and rights?
I don't think so. Perhaps, where one mustn't do certain moves, someone else could be useful.
Someone not bound to burdensome obligations arising from our social position, or function, or expectations...
A person or group not caring that much for what others think about them, and just doing their job. Having ties to such groups may be sooo useful and beneficial at times, for all parties, including the new ones in those agreements...
I am sure you consider Daumann as an ally to the Federal Police, just like we consider the Federal Police an ally to Daumann.

Aha.
Of course I remember that the Polizei and Daumann have scratched each other's back in the past. You don't need to remind me of this.
And right now I see no need to change that in any way. After all, it is Daumann that does its best to support the Polizei.
Not the independent miners.
Gut, with that being said, I might be able to convince some of mein officers to not...exaggerate when it comes to hunting certain individuals or groups.
If you ...chiefly of course... have any loose connections to such organisations, you might need to tell them to keep ein low profile. If things draw too much public interest, the Polizei might be forced to intervene.
