Seer Splinter entered a meditative state, allowing him and the Elder to share ideas. His thoughts echoed in the darkness, “Elder, I have acquired a vessel that requires, a more delicate touch. See Here.” A model appeared in the void
As it faded in and out of view Splinters thoughts again penetrated the void. “A vessel has come into our control, called an Ahourdri in their native tongue. This is a light capital ship type, but this vessel isn’t armed for combat, but rather exploration. I have gone through those humans that we possess, there are 10 scientists among them. I wish to use their knowledge, in a controlled manner to gather information for Etheria.” Splinter again paused
Seer Splinter entered the core, noting the new Survivalists among the others. Splinter stepped onto his throne and felt his weight slowly fade away as the gravity generator started to support him. His eyes started to unfocused as he various prions connected to him. It was certainly taxing to have so many hosts under his control but a necessary measure. He blacked out.
His eyes opened. Sitting up he found the room quite small.
Splinter paused the prion. It was foolish of him to start without knowing more of his host. The memories of prion came before him. It was quite dull. The core faded again.
His eyes opened again, grimacing when he noticed that his open mouth had allowed him to drool on himself. "Discusting" Sean muttered under his breath. Quickly cleaning himself up Sean existed the room. Making he way down the short hallway he climbed the stairs that spat him out onto the bridge. It was a spartan affair. The main science bays were located forward. Sean would only be joined by the engineer while they were underway. "Jim..John, wait whats your name again." Sean asked. Rather than answering the engineer turned to face him, the word Fred was clearly stenciled on his left breast pocket.
Sheer frustration pulled Splinter back to the core.
The Elders thoughts rang out, “You will do as you were told.” Splinter responded in kind, "You know how difficult it is to gather information using their primitive..." He was cut off by the Elder, "Proceed with your duties Seer" Splinter was still very aggravated as he focused his mind
Sean hit a tiny button, a high pitched whistle rang throughout the ship, "All hands make ready to launch". This trip was going to be a long one.
