If you're gonna worry about the possible impact of using drug-related slang in game, you might as well remove all drug commodities in game. Oh, and killing other people is bad too. Ban PvP and PvE. And smuggling is bad too. In fact, everything that's illegal is bad. This should be turned into a trading mod. Oh and the K'Hara are evil aliens killing people; they're scary. Remove them too pls

But...uhm...trading can be bad, too, like, if you trade anything legal from Rheinland, you are exploiting the workers who die in the factories...and, of course, if you export anything illegally from Rheinland, you are breaking the law, which is bad... oo, and consumer goods are produced with slave labour...as is most of Liberty's produce...
I can't consider games giving bad example... I've played many games not suitable for children when i was a kid ,but i didn't go on a killing sprees on the streets nor i abuse any drugs....kids know games are just game imo

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
I suppose FL is +12/+13 game for a reason, isn't it? Also, as far as I remember, it was one of the few games which uses Drug and Alcohol Refference warning in 2000s.
And about games and their "bad influence", I call it bulls**t, pardon my French, but I can't stand those pseudo-psychologists that say that games are harmful. I mean, not to mention those lemmings children who tried fly on a broom from 5th (U.S. 6th) floor after reading Harry Potter - it is a parents' duty to see what their kids are doing.
I played Carmageddon at 10. Do I look like psychopath? No. I killed the endless seas of bandits and wolves in RPGs, but I would be unable to hurt my own dog - I feel bad for punishing him as well - not to mention the other person. Seriously, people?
On the warnings for games. Why +18 and M isn't the same? Well, in fact games can have dropped even to the lower stadium, because of ONE MAJOR THING:
"If you do something bad and this is punishable in game, censors are okay with that."
The same applies for illegal things in Freelancer, like: you smuggle things? Police asks you to drop it. You kill traders? You become rather unliked by lawful corporations, police and military.

Maybe that's the reason why it got changed after all. (bandit)
