Any chance to move to a simple pvp model?

Remove rules make it simple for server :-
all bounties need to be auto-scripted :-

pirates: allowed to kill police and traders. gets bounties for these.
police: allowed to kill pirates & police. gets bounties for these.
traders: allowed to kill pirates. gets bounties for these.

And that's it.

Also -- no rule against relogging into system after death. You can come back and fight again if you want. If they spawn camp, someone else will come help.

No need for individual factions IDs. All factions are either pirate, police or trader.

You can rp if you like but essentially the above is all there is to ruuning an mmorpg game of that type.

Is it feasible..?

Dude, sorry to break your bubble, but this is a role-playing server. We are THAT kind of community that hates MMORPG's (err.. I do). And don't get me wrong here, but your ideas are totally absurd, I'm not even gonna comment on each of them.

Feasible? sure...on Discovery RP Server? Heck no

If your looking for more freedom there is alway Void (tho I don't know if people are still playing there) or Shattered Worlds, but Disco is a strong RP server and many of us like it that way

I was thinking more along the lines of, balancing out the weapons in to something more simple giving each man the same chance and such...

But taking out all the depth we have developed? You're rather new here, and I feel you. But once you get to know the rules a bit more, and you live to see their good intent, you'll learn to obay them, and soon by seeing other obay them you will generaly have more fun...

There's nothing less fun than getting killed for a no good reason....

There is no chance to move to a simple pvp model. If you want pure unbridled pvp, go play on the void server.

You know my opinion of this from your other post...

But in helpful response, go away. Not a rude comment actually, this server isn't right for you. Play on FLU, it's a PvP playground, I used to play there. Everyone flies Eagles. Everyone. If you see a Sabre, it's like: "Holy crap a Sabre! I'm gonna go kill him! Arr." I flew one. I know.:sleep:

But in all honesty, this server is uber-fun if you like story-writing and -RPing-. You clearly don't like these things as much as PvP. Nothing wrong with that. Just not right for this server. Hands down.

If you decide to move on, have fun. But if you decide to stay, you have a lot to learn. And it's not gonna be an easy process. It's gonna be painful. Sorry.

There use to be a disco PvP server but like most stated already the community is based off RP and the PvP server wasnt active at all so they removed it. Chances of it comming back up are slim to none.

Why do you think we became the Nr.1 Freelancer server if we are ruining this game by such rules and policies?

If you seek PvP only then simply don't play on Discovery RP server, as easy as that, mate. RP is what matters here, not PvP.
