Biography: I was born and raised on planet Houston, the son of 2 LPI correctional officers aboard LPI Huntsville. Growing up, I often had trouble making friends due to my parents occupation. Most of the kids my age were either the offspring of former "guests" of Huntsville, or DSE workers. Neither group had much use for the LPI. That would be expeceted from the former inmates kids, but I never understood why the DSE looked down on them. After all, that's how they get the majority of their workforce. So, since I spent most of my time alone, I kept myself occupied studying astronomy and space travel, with dreams of getting off of that dustball and getting out amongst the stars.
Upon turning 18, I enlisted with the Liberty Navy, where I served for 8 years as a fighter pilot and attained the rank of Lt. Cmdr.. One day, while on patrol in the Hudson system, my group was ambushed by a squadron of Rheinland military fighters that had been lying in wait at the Hamburg jump hole. Before I knew what was happening, my HUD lit up with incoming missile warnings, and that's the last thing I can remember. According to LN records, out of the 10 pilots in my squadron that day, I was only one, out of two, that survived. Apparently, a passing Zoner trade ship picked up the signal from our escape pods, tractored us in, and brought us to the medical facilities on board Cold Bay Depot. Upon my recovery, I was ready to get back in the cockpit of my Avenger, but the LN felt that I should pursue the remainder of my naval career behind a desk. Naturally, this did not sit well with me, so I immediately requested to be discharged.
Why do you wish to join us?: Over the course of my service I was able to save up a nice little pile of credits. I could not bear the thought of being planet bound again, so I purchased a respectable little transport ship and became a freelancer. Things have gone well for me, but, I've seen too many fellow pilots (both corporate and freelancer alike), become victims of the many pirate factions here in Sirius. Upon hearing about your faction, it became clear what I must do. There is no sense in letting years of military combat experience go to waste, when there are honest, hard working pilots out there being robbed and worse, with no one to turn to.
Therefore, at this time, I hereby submit my application for your approval.
