Not all wrecks appear on the Forum Interactive Map.
And not all wrecks will show up on your scanners. I believe the one in S-59 has to be visually sighted. Once you find it, it still doesn't show up on your Ship's scanners.

Quote:I remember hunting for this wreck, I'm pretty sure it's a GMG fighter wreck in orbit of the planet, either to the southwest or southeast, but make a full circle on impulse and keep your eyes sharp.
I found the little bugger.
Just 500 meters below Yaese Research Station.
I navigated to these precise coordinates, which put me near the upper north face of Planet Wiesbaden, but found no object of any kind there to interact with.
Am I missing something?

That is because the locations are not up-to-date as the wreck you are looking for is called "Edda" and has been moved for unknown reasons to 1/E in the Omega-55 system.
In order to make locating Codename Wrecks a bit easier for myself and other beginners, I have added a layer to the map grid in Military Style.
I use an imaginary overlay which separates the typical grid square into 9 smaller squares.
Using the cardinal directions within those smaller squares also breaks them into 9 smaller units,
creating 81 new identifiable locations within a grid square.
I have found the usual system to be inadequate and the OP's info on this thread to be somewhat outdated, so I have updated the wreck locations to this new system as I have found them on my hunts.
This is still a work in progress, and I will update this post as new info is gained.

Also, is the info regarding the wreck in Ile de France up to date? It seems not.
The wreck in IDF is the one next to Planet Dreux and is called Superbe.

Try as I might, I haven't found the AHRIMAN wreck in New London.
Unmarked in a debris field is challenging.
How far above Gettyburg does this wreck lie?
