Flying around space and looking for NPCs that carry something to shoot down and sell is getting a little bit annoying at times. I can count on one hand the number of "fishing" spots for NPC cargo looting that I got anything interesting out of it other than FWO.
Im not saying FWO is bad but... more variety???
But seriously why does 7/10 + transport NPCs now carry like food or water or oxygen? Can there be a bit higher and more interesting rates???
And I KNOW this is possible since before there were NPCs with pilot guys in them all the time and you could shoot them down and collect some in your cargo hold. Now it got a lot harder to do so... why?

NPC Pirating can be fun. NPC's are considered people inRP, so if a police guy catches you shooting the transports, you're a big baddie now, and you will be shot.
Just hope that the lawful dude is actually a real roleplayer and not...LNS.

Oh so miners can get cargo from game mechanics but I cant from moving NPCs that spawn randomly and I yeild the lowest selling of about 3000 each? Give me a freaking break that's retarded.

Because this is multiplayer server. And because NPC traders are completely unable to defend themself as they are created to not be dangerous, including their "escorts". What you are doing is not actually pirating, we call this farming because you just wait for them and then simply harvest their cargo with few shots.
However I am willing to agree with buff you are talking about. My only condition is that every NPC transport will get one or two gunboats, equipped with things like CD, razor and missiles, as escort. Then you will deserve to get more from killing NPC traders...

Miners must go to few well known mining spots where they can be easily found by pirates. That is their risk. What is your risk you have to undergo?
