Greetings,
honoured Guild Masters and Guild Members
Mr. Schwerdtfeger,
Mr. Lister, Mr Henderson
My name is Phileas Ottobert Tukker,
Prime Secretary for the Board of Trustees and representative for Tinker & Transport.
I would like to contact the Guild to discuss the possibility of trade with your Guildmembers and stations and to further negotiate diplomatic relationship between our cooperation and your Guild.
We are currently undertaking steps to contact the Colonial Republic and the Council too, in an attempt to open new markets currently not available and to decrease our reliance on Samura good will at Yokohama.
We are a neutral cooperation between Freelance traders of libertonian origin,
and a group of Texas based Junkers around their Foreman FynnMcScrap.
More information concerning us and our code of conduct can be found here :
We are currently looking for alternatives to trading our pre-sorted Premium Grade Scrap to Yokohama,
and as I see neither Valetta nor Tripolis as preferable ports of call the question how we could trade with Singapore or Sabah arrises naturally. The Haven Memorial Clinic will offer our full services concerning medical goods or supplies, and MedEvac services as well.
I hope that we can negotiate some arrangement in due course and we are willing to open full acces to Tinkers Haven dockside trade to your transponder code.
It is a pleasure hearing from you. The IMG has heard about Tinker & Transport and our bases around Sirius have picked up quite some traffic you generated.
I am happy to see that you do not join those ranks of criminals that fuel the Outcast economy and thus contribute to the poisoning of Sirius with their orange drug.
I assume you are interested in the opening of our bases Fort Siloso (Tau 39), which is storing Niobium, and Falster Trade Center (Omega 3), which is mainly focussing on Silver, Cobalt, Copper - in this order.
I only need to know one thing first: To be allowed docking, I need to know whether your company is:
a) legal in Omega 3 (with Bretonia), so we can allow for Falster docking access.
b) legal in Omega 7 (with Rheinland), so I know whether we can mine for you directly.
c) legal in Tau 23 (with Gallia), so I know whether we will run into trouble there.
I am pretty sure we can work out some interesting deals. Please also add me on the Sky-P3 protocols for easy communication and fast planning.
Well met, Mr Henderson.
This is Phileas Tukker speaking again, from Mr. McScraps office at the Haven.
Thank you for letting me know who to contact at the Independent Miners Guild, and thank you also for the compliment.
Yes, as we have a strict code against the Orange and other inhumane contraband we see little reason to lay course to the deep Omikrons. Nothing interesting to bring back, and a high price one way does not build a good tradeway.
Naturally we are interested in opening other markets, trying not to get involved in the generations old hate between Junker groups and Samura and Hogosha clans.
To directly answer your questions, Sir :
We are a licenced trade cooperation with bretonian Authorities,
having both a Tau trade and a medical supplies licence active till March 822 AS.
We frequently trade medical supplies and other commodities in Bretonia.
We are careful to remain neutral to Rheinland.
While we have a full cooperation with ALG, we have little direct contact to Rheinland officials so far,
and a query to change this has not been answered. I suppose this is because we do have a libertonian base licence in Texas.
So far we have had no negative experiences with Rheinland officials and wish to ceep this stance.
We have had no official contract with the Kingdom of Gallia, and we would prefer it to stay that way.
As we sometimes use the well known training our Junker affiliates bring with them when they join us to run the blokade to Leeds we fully expect to be found on the gallic criminal list, but we do not trade or smuggle to the gallic home systems. We only bring medical supplies or food to the resistance camps at Leeds while we evacuate refugees from there, but I do not think this counts in our favour with the royal gallic navy. So while we do have a bretonian trade clearance for the Taus, we will not opt to get a gallic one.
I am sure you understand point c , and am very interested as to what compromise or trade deal we could find there.
Currently we have been cleared for passage and trade in Council zone of Influence, and are trying to optain an official trade venture.
Of course, either direct or indirect acces to the Shipjards of Singapore and Sabah would be our long term Interest, together with acces to Fort Siloso and Falster, and I see no difficulties for Falster.
I am aware that the situation in the Tau region is different form the Core, as I am familiar with the area from my own days as a Freelance borderworld trader and am looking forward to discuss possibilities with you.
We do use an open trade channel with affiliates and neutral traders via Sky~P3 protocol too, and I will send you the contact if you wish. Or just contact me directly on the known channel, I will be happy to respond.
Thank you for providing the intel that I requested to make a decision. I do not see any necessity to restrict any cooperative operations. The only potentially difficulty could occur with Gallia but, let's face is: Gallia is difficult. And will always be.
Anyway, I would advise caution around Java, as it is the only IMG base that they actually have a presence in the vicinity. You should be alright as long as you keep a low profile around the base. Also you have to warn your pilots that the platforms around Java are GRN-controlled.
Falster and Siloso can be unlocked without any real trouble. Do not lead anybody to Tau 39, Fort Siloso, but that's self-explanatory.
I'd like to be added to the Sky-P3 channel that you mentioned, as it makes quick reactions and easy communication possible.
Thank you and I am looking forward to the cooperation.
