Subj: The Great Corsair Hunt in NewLondon, 20141020

I showed up in Planet New London last night. There had been radio chatter about Corsairs attacking some new base "above" the planet. I thought I might be able to pick up an on the spot contract.

The BAF invited me into the hunt, and I ended up following some yahoo LCDR over half the system, including through the radiation fields to the tune of 45k of damage to my ship.

After the attacking battleship left Bretonian space to Leeds, the LCDR dissolved our comm net and flew off.

Attached is my loss report, including a waiver request on my taxes to the tune of 5M for a standard escort contract left unfulfilled by the Bretonian government.

They say the sword of the paymaster is more dangerous than that of the enemy, and I can believe it. No offense to the accounting department...
