IMG|Freistadt.Two, IMG|Alexander:Craig, UEC|Croixleur.Sigma, UEC|Akio.Matsumoto, and UEC|Aneko.Oonishi have been sanctioned for:
Quote:Server Rule Bounty Hunting & Freelancer Hire
9. The character registered on a board must be at least neutral to their employer, and hostile to the faction they are targeting in a bounty. This does not apply to assassination missions where the target is a single character. Board owners are obliged to ensure that the persons they are hiring have a suitable reputation. This means no hiring or paying people who would be hostile to you based on previous actions or non-hostile with the targets they claim.
1.3 Every player must have one ID equipped on their ship. Player should follow the restrictions and allowances listed in their ID and their roleplay and conduct must match the actions of their characters. In cases where these restrictions and allowances conflict with the server rules, the ID overrides the rules.
Consequences: Corsairs were attacking a POB (Cameron Solar Port) in Omega 9. IMG| players show up to defend the base. That is an ID violation, since you are out of your ZOI and the base is not IMG|. Also, IMG| players hired the UEC| players to help them in their fight. That is a violation of Bounty rules. Recently, IMG| FR5'd the UEC| faction. You cannot hire someone for a bounty if you are diplomatically hostile to them. At the same time, UEC| cannot accept a bounty from an employer who is hostile to them.
If you post in this sanction and are not directly involved or a leader of the accused person's faction be advised that you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban.
Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbours, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
Meh. The FR5 happened to keep Rheinland at bay (IMG does not care whether they attack Rheinlanders.
But: I had to keep them from staging from Freistadt. It does not automatically mean that we would not cooperate. We would. And we have.
I just needed a reliable, technical gameplay fix in order to keep them from using Freistadt and thus anger Rheinland in an unrealistic and blunt way at a time when relations between IMG and Rheinland were on edge irply and oorply.
Anyway, I have not seen the UEC around, so this is an issue solved and won't likely repeat itself.
On the ZoI stuff:
The IMG has put a massive amount of roleplay into Omega 9 development and I have requested several times to have Omega 9 added to the IMG ID.
The IMG| has claimed half of O9 and has built / helped build/ supplied 3 bases (2 of which at some point died - Freeport 101, Cameron included) and I can prove involvement in the Cameron project (see links below) that makes engaging in its defense definitely reasonable in roleplay.
IMG should have Omega 9 as ZoI, given the massive amount of roleplay and development work I have invested into it. It never was done, nor did I get any answers to my requests.
To be honest, I assumed that Omega 9 (which was added later and thus does not appear in ANY ID, except the "can be [in all of] Omegas") would not lead to ZoI-sanctions. IDs have never been adjusted for that beta-change to include the new buffer systems.
To make this end in an improval of the situation:
Anyway, I'll use this opportunity to request yet again the addition of Omega 9 to the IMG ID.
Roleplay proof of IMG having a strong claim on having Omega 9 as ZoI. I only searched by looking for the posts I made with the [Omega 9] tag. There is a lot more, I bet, where IMG is involved in threads not made by myself:
Hola, Garret. Cameron Star Port had a FL IFF, if i'm not mistaken? So, anyway, were we hired or not, we just trying to defend it. We had no choice. And, yes, i really hate IMG's pilots, because they are pilots. But in this case, i can forgive them too. In this battle, we have a COMMON enemy, who touch our interests. Best regards, UEC|Akio.Matsumoto.
For UEC|, it doesn't matter what the IFF of the base is. What matters is, who do you accept a contract with. Since IMG| are diplomatically hostile to you, it would be inappropriate to accept a bounty from them.
