That's not how it works.I am a sargeant in the National Cadet Corps (NCC for short). I am the CO of my school troop.

NCC is an institution which grooms future army men, but any student can join it. At the end of every training level(2 yes), we write an exam for certification of our participation and excellence.

Lvl 1 is for school, lvl 2and 3 for colleges.
