and he brought at least 3 of his friends - battleship captains, too. there you stand in your fighter - and 4 battleships walz in - and your mission commander yells at you for fleeing the battle:crazy:.

hammerheads...... i ask you !

and usually all you get for your effords is something like 400k ( considering your repair costs and medical bill will be like 1 million )

Funny thing. That just happened to me. Only, I'm in a Praetorian. I can't run very fast. I just stuck out my chest and died. No repair, no rep loss.

What? Hammerhead missions from Crete are perfectly doable in a fighter.

Destroyer missions with some patience are doable in a bomber easily if you know about engagement tactics.

Wasn't really paying attention, cruise in, look at screen, oh shi....boom.

maybe you should get some team allies to go in with you.. split the cash...

i had one instance where i was lucky and a corsair player was waiting near the horde of enemy by chance. he fougth them off with me. without him i would have lost.

I loved doing cap missions with my cruiser... easier to hit than fighters and they cant really do all that much damage if you're in a capship yourself.

I beg to differ ten, way back in the day when i had corsair characters i did some cap missions in the gunboat, i died a couple times. but then my skills were lame too. i'd just sit there and use turret mode :laugh:

and what to think about the help they offer...
You're on your own against capships, but when there is a low amount of lvl14 enemies, they send in 3 osirises to back you up.

I have never had Osirises come to help me. And I find that is the diffisculty is 42 or more, there won't be any capships.
