I dont know if this is possible.

It would cut out about 60% of my screenshots.
Are we able to have a toggleable text dump FLhook thingy?
We can turn it on and it will append any console, system, pm or other chat that we send or receive to a txt file in the freelancer/other directory with a date and time stamp only when enabled? Something like:

/setcapmsg on

After playing ingame I go to Freelancer/mods/Discovery/Textcapture.txt

"13/4/09 13:30 Text Dump enabled
HyungSoong: No sir I dont have contraband
==LSF==: Liar.
Death: HyungSoong has died to ==LSF== (Gun)
==LSF has gone postal!

Oh... I would kill for something like that. A massive help for integrating ingame RP into forum story form.

Right now I just try to remember to hit the prnt-scn button as much as I can.

I usually take screenshots if any decent RP is going on in-game, then convert it manually (notepad + picture viewer ftw, ghetto eh?)

Try doing that with 900 ss per week.

Yes it is possible. I don't know how to do this yet but I've a reasonably good idea about how to start...it is getting to end that is hard.

I'm working on a way to suppress the new/departing player messages. This has to be done in the Frelancer client - not the server. Adding a feature to send chat to a text file wouldn't be that hard once I know how to suppress the new/departing player messages.

That suppression could be part of the next mod correct? A mandatory file that people DL with the mod, and they have the option of turning it on off?
Part of the "text dump" could also be suppression of console messages as well? I imagine the death messages would be on the same "bandwidth" as the console message?

Very unlikely to be included in the next mod. This'll be more like an optional add-on. Maybe if I had it ready now then Igiss might include it - but I haven't asked him and it is not ready - so at this stage very unlikely.

Re: Kissing. Nice but I like beer, small unmarked bills, cars, that sort of thing too...
EDIT: On second thought I like large unmarked bills better.
