The deal was sealed- 50 Million for the access codes to the Alaska Jumpgate. Zane Frazier began his work.
He quickly began to get on the Navy's good side, killing unlawful's for very cheap prices. He tried to be a like-able guy. Zane even contacted the Navy high command to become an "Authorized" mercenary in Liberty. They quickly approved him without much thought.
Zane smiled as he continued his work- in secret. He continued for weeks on end, taking every step he could to befriend the police.
Finally the day came. He had been planning it for a long time. After gathering a large group of Navy and Police, he he presented his case- "I need the access codes for the Alaska Jump Gate." He was questioned constantly about who he worked for, where he came fromm and what he was doing- and in the end, it was all in vain. The police refused to give the codes to him. They didn't believe his story. All of his arguing schemes failed.
Zane was furious. All his work was in vain! How could the police refuse him, he had helped them for weeks on end!
In his heart, he always thought this would happen, but he still didn't want to do what he was about to do.
As he approached the safe house, he paused. He looked around, then up at the sky and saw the faint lights of the battlecruisers and dreadnoughts orbiting Manhattan. He sighed and walked on.
He left the safe house with a small black bag slung over his shoulder. He had some of the smartest friends in Sirius.
He launched and cruised past many police vessels, luckily unseen. He proceeded past westpoint, past Ithica, and into the badlands. He approached buffalo base, which had a Rogue Gunboat stationed outside.
"Hello Felix, our work is almost done. The codes will soon be ours."
He docked on Buffalo and prepared.
He flipped the system comms on, "You have left me no choice."
Today, a break through in jumpgate technology will greatly increase the security and stability of jumpgates in the Liberty house. Doctor Greg Floran, the mind behind this amazing feat of engineering, sat down with our very own Mimi Jung to tell us more about it.
Mimi: Thank you for being here with us.
Dr. Floran: My pleasure.
Mimi: So please explain exactly what this program will do?
Dr. Floran: Well, this software is completely revolutionary. It is an anti-virus software that is meant to keep Jumpgates from being locked down, or hacked using a remote terminal. The only way it could possibly be overridden is with a hard wire cut of the main server however doing this would shut down every jumpgate in the Liberty house, as they are all connected to the same server. The second way is if an official manually types in the correct code with finger print and eye retina scans.
Mimi: Very interesting...So how does it work?
Dr. Floran: Ah, I'm glad you asked, it is fascinating, but rather hard to explain. The most simple way I can describe it is like the AIDS virus. At the first detection of an Malicious or Unknown files or programs it will virtually take over that file or program and reinstate its own set of codes and protocols. Which I programmed myself. That is why it would be impossible to hack.
Mimi: Well, nothing is perfect...What could go wrong with this program?
Dr. Floran: We have tested this program thousands of times with no signs of an security breach. There are a few theoretical problems that could occur. The program could malfunction and cause a short circuit of the Jumpgates wiring. But that is the most likely, which is a very easy fix. The second and final thing I can think of would be if a man with a vastly superior mind to that of myself or my colleagues was able to somehow reverse the effects of the program. *Laughing* But obviously there is nothing to worry about.
Mimi: Is there anyway to trace the program? If so, couldn't someone just destroy it?
Dr. Floran: That is the beauty of the program. It's untraceable. No matter what you do you cannot trace it.
Mimi: Thank you for taking the time to talk to us Dr. Floran.
You fools! I have known about this program for weeks. Throughout this time I have been reverse engineering the code and found all the secrets to this program. Me and my team have already completed what we were trying to accomplish. Complete reversal! The trojan is complete, the deed is done! You cannot find it, you cannot trace it, you cannot reverse it! All will soon see we have a greater purpose! Prepare yourselves!
The police fried three hacking programs- but it didn't matter. The Trojan was in- everything was logged. Every code- every code change. It was undetectable, unhackable, unremovable. It built on what it found, expanding through every file.
"Felix, the code is ours." Zane said solemnly.
Logs were being made from several mainframes in Buffalo, and soon to be, many other bases.
"Right," Felix said, "Our work has just begun."
There is always a bigger picture.

OOC: All of these events have already been roleplayed in game. We were thinking about getting some input and maybe start somewhat of an RP event series between Zane, Felix and friends, against any police
