K first with the money u think there could be a way to transfer large amounts of funds from one account to another without having to ask someone? sorry folks i don't trust everyone and feel bad for bothering those i do.
Now for the weapons upgrades and tech upgrades, this is just an idea so don't go all negative on me now. How bout for a high price players could pay admins to develope high powered weapons for watever ship we have? Or players could pay admins for access to advance weapons and technology? Nothing so outrages like a fighter weapon taking out a battleship in to shots, but something more powerful or more energy effecient. Also with the tech upgrades how bout paying for a better version of a ship, something with more weapon space or cargo space, maybe even more weapon slots?
Ok I like the idea about the money transfer if it is possible.
But the extra powered ships/weps would just unbalance everything to much.
Keep coming up with ideas though :)

I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus
I tried the to do a credit card transfer, IT DOSN'T WORK

"The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved."

I tried the credit card trick, POOF!! there went $40 million. Hard lesson learned.
Idea: How about a SHARED BANK ACCOUNT that all characters on the same account could access? That could hold money and maybe even a few items, like guns or armor that we want to give to our new character.

Good idea with the bank for the account. Say keep them at the faction's base you are aligned with. That way you can't lose it from people killing the ship.
Or sell stations chars could buy to keep their stuff and money. And make revenue maybe from sales of items, ships, or goods from the stations they own. Maybe make a station a cool billion(1,000,000,000) Credits. As they would take A LOT of work I am sure. If its even possible. :yu: :nono:
Maxwell.Smart - Blood Dragon, by choice and imprisonment.
1. Buy Credit Cards in the amount of money you want to transfer
2. Put one char in a place where you want to make transfer, I suggest close to a base or something, you need a point of orientation
3. Switch to the other char (it may be on another account, works that way too)
4. Fly that char into the proximity of where you left the first one (anything inside 2k is enough, just to see where the cargo is)
5. Switch back, drop the Credit Cards
6. Switch again, tractor in the Credit Cards
7. Dock to the nearest base, sell the Credit Cards
Works with anything droppable (unfortunately there are some items you can't drop)
NOTE: Make sure the cargo you dropped appeared in space (and shield back up). Not bad if you make sure you got no lag or at least not a bad lag.
Works flawless, everytime!
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. Easier to just ask somone to help you. (I wont run of with the money honest  )
