Very Angry, cannot complete game

I am on the mission where I need to destroy Tekagi or whoevers arch. I leave the BD base and at about 10k away it tells me I must destroy a Naval Patrol, I start the fight, and before I know it the game glitches out and goes to my computers main screen, the game minimizes and the program will not respond.

My game is unmodded at the moment (I took off the Discovery Mod, adamantly telling myself I must beat SP before I start up again) and the only thing different is I took out the opening videos. Any suggestions?

It may be your computer acting up, or if you have a program running in the background that could possibly stop FL as well. It might also be your FL copy; try reinstalling it (sorry, but I think that means you'll have to start over SP, just in case your SP files are corrupt. Oh well, it's not so tough anyways:P) Hope it helped!

If you use a firewall. Maybe the Fire Wall block the Freelancer. So you might want to unblock it
