Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Joseph Wolf, Senior Councilman for the Solar Runners. Your records should indicate that I purchased a IMGC-104D "Sagarmatha" class Battlecruiser from yourselves some time ago, for the purposes of research and exploration. The vessel served me well for some time, and has recently been brought back into service, once again under my command. It seems that the time it has spent in drydock has effected the powercore greatly. I'm detecting only 10% power output compared to normal levels. This is horribly problematic, as it means I cannot provide sufficient power to many on-board equipment and systems, and the vessel even struggles to regenerate and recycle the shielding systems.
I have tried to locate the source of the problem, but to no avail. It is my hope, and wish, that bringing it back to it's designers would prove a valuable insight, and with your help, that I might be able to restore the vessel to it's former glory.
I hope to not inconvenience you with my request, and hope to hear good news from you soon.
Yours,
Senior Councilman Joseph Wolf Secretary of Fleets & Diplomatic Affairs
Solar Runner Council
**** TO:Joseph Wolf, Senior Councilman for the Solar Runners ****
Good day Mr. Wolf,
First of all given that this is the first time we speak let me introduce myself, my name is Roger Alton and I speak on behalf of the IMG Technical Department.
Our records do show that the Solar Runners, more exactly you Mr. Wolf, have requested and received one of our IMGC-104D "Sagarmatha" class Battlecruisers.
A fine and sturdy ship it is . We take great pride in it and that is why I must express my sadness to hear of the problems you've been having with it.
Sirius is a rough place indeed and I can only assume that you have traveled through some hard terrain. Over time the outerspace conditions take their tole on even the most resistant and durable of spacecrafts.
The problem you are describing is clearly a power core one.
Now if I am right, and I can think of no reason in why not, it is simply a matter of replacing some used and teared components in the central power generator facility located in the .... well I will not bore you with technical details Mr. Wolf.
Rest assured our crews are most capable of rectifying this problem.
You will be expected at Singapore Shipyard in Tau 44 and a team of technicians, handpicked by myself, will see to the vessel. You will be up and running your Sagarmatha in no time Mr. Wolf.
