a couple of days ago I got the great idea to start up vanilla Freelancer just to see if it still works with Disco installed and all that. I started a new save game and wanted to play the campain just a bit. The game crashed, so I guess vanilla Freelancer doesn't work when you install Disco. Anyway, since then I got a wierd graphic glitch with Disco. All Objects and Ships look just fine but the "Sky boxes" and Nebula are all real low res and kinda look broken.
Can anyone help me with this? Do i need to reinstall or is there something i can do to fix it?
I think you are a select group then, I think the game has enough old school charm on its own with the ability of rendering in 32 bit, if I wanted to render it that way then id go back to wing commander
My Document/My games/Freelancer/PerfOptions.ini at the bottom of file there are options for bitmaps, set them and resolution (just in case) to a needed one? and? optionally set file to read only (you will be able to change settings in game but they will be reset to what is written in the .ini file each time game retarts, sometimes it is useful. In launcher switch the "windowed" mode on, and when in game press alt+enter to make it fullscreen. Don't forget to set resolution here as well. In game options where the resolution is set, try clicking many times "up" or "down" arrows there are options fro 16 and 32 bit, they just duplicated and it only looks like they are not being changed.

Thanks Swallow! Editing PerfOptions.ini fixed the problem.
