"Hello, Hades. AI Empathy on the comms."
"After you returned to Sabah Shipyard, I did as you said and explored the system we entered through the Nomad Jump Gate and looked for stations."
"I actually found two stations in the system" A 3D Holo-map appears, projecting a top-view of the system. Two spots are highlighted red "The first station I found resembles a depot" The holo-map zooms in on one of the red spots. Bottrop Depot can be seen. "This is Bottrop Depot. From the name, it seems to be of rheinland origin. However it is hostile, and communication seems to fail. Or the crew simply does not respond."
"When moving too close, the base engages all battlestations, so it seems to be manned."
"A thorough scan of the crew from a distance however showed, that there are readings, slightly resembling Nomad signatures. So it is very likely to have either infectees on the station or a lot of still active nomad remains. I personally think it's the infectees. I will show more proof later on" The holo-map zooms out again, then zooms in on the second highlighted spot. Hirschfield Base. "This is the Hirschfield Base, again a rheinlandish name, slight nomad readings and hostility without any response."
"Both these stations are close to each other and another Nomad Jumpgate. However this one seems to lack energy, which makes it inoperable." The holo-map zooms out once again and the 3D map fades. Instead, a weird gunboat-sized ship appears "Now, while exploring the system, I encountered multiple hostile patrols with a wide variety of ships. However this one stood out the most."
"It seems to be semi-organic, meaning it is partially constructed by humans and then "overgrown" with organic tissue"
"I have seen a few actually with both nomad and human weapons mounted, which is peculiar, but interesting." The projection fades until it is completely gone "If further investigation is required, I'd suggest a large-scaled expedition with at least one capital vessel, for protection."
"Anyhow, this is all I could gather from the scans. I will continue to patrol Coronado, informing you about any ship moving in and out of Coronado."
A projection of a young adult male appears, smiling
"It is a pleasure to work with you. Until we meet again, safe skies"
"Greetings, Hades. AI Empathy on the comms again."
"Patrols in Coronado have been rather eventless so far, so I pursued something more interesting."
"My long range scanners indicated Gallic Officials in Tau-31, and - since I haven't had many encounters yet - I moved there."
"The Conversation I had with them was recorded and I will upload it for you to replay whenever you want" ::<Uploading> [Sound_file]::
Empathy: ???: "Oh, Royal Navy. Interesting" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: What is interesting? Empathy: ???: "I have not encountered any Gallic Royal Navy Individuals on my travels so far" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Is there a reason why you would wanna encounter us? Empathy: ???: "I am on exploration routes all over sirius. I long to meet as many faction representants as possible" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: That's interesting. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: I assume you are gathering information. Empathy: ???: "Positive." GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: for whom thats a good question GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Oui. Empathy: ???: "For myself, and myself only" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: How come you are so interested? GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: why dont beleive you Empathy: ???: "It makes sense for you to be cautious about believing me. You are at war after all." GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: please dont shoot at our pilots Empathy: ???: "I am not. I'm moving so they do not damage my hull, but I am not retaliating" GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: ggod for you GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: At war? GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: You mean, a war which we are winning? Empathy: ???: "At least, that's what I heard when I spent some time in Bretonia" Empathy: ???: "Was that faulty information?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: We don't call that 'war'. we call it warm up. Empathy: ???: "So you are very confident, that you win this war, yes?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Oui. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Recent actions speak for themselves. Empathy: ???: "I see. Say, would you mind listing the enemies you have, currently?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: *Sighs* GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: hmmm..... GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: are you a spy? GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Bretonia, Liberty, Council... et the list continues. Empathy: ???: "Like I said, I gather information for myself alone." Empathy: ???: "I disconnected from the Kappa-Network quite some time ago, so I am an independent AI" Empathy: ???: "And currently, I work for nobody, until I find someone to affiliate with" Empathy: ???: "That's why I'm traveling through Sirius, gathering Information" GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: can AI be trusted? Empathy: ???: "That depends solely on what kind of AI you are talking about" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Even if it's a spy, it's not something the others don't know. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: indeed GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: You said you gather information. Empathy: ???: "Positive" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: What do you have on Bretonians? Empathy: ???: "If I were to simply share my information with anybody, I would not be welcome in several systems" Empathy: ???: "This would prove very inefficient, so I will keep my information to myself at first" GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: at first? Empathy: ???: "After all, you would not like it, if I had information about you and would share it with Bretonia, would you? GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: If you would like to have warm welcomes within Gallic systems, you will share with us. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Oui, i wouldn't. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Et, i doubt you will get any information about us. Empathy: ???: "There is always something to know about, even if it is just a tiny bit of information" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Not in our case. Empathy: ???: "It is the amount of Information, that fills the picture, not the quality" Empathy: ???: "Already by talking with you, I gathered information about your war, your enemies, and your view on the status of war" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Sirians already know what they have to know about us. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: So go ahead, i invite you to explain them once more something they already know. Empathy: ???: "Like I already said twice, I gather this information for myself only" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: I hope so. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: for your sake i think GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: After all, machines were never trustoworthy. Empathy: ???: "Like I said, you have to differ between AIs from one network and the independent ones" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: That's what they all try to say. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: But in reality, you don't know what they really mean. Empathy: ???: "Negative. Networked AIs always keep to their routines and sequences" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Or if they actually mean what they say. Empathy: ???: "Usually, AIs do not lie, as it proves inefficient. Not even the superior AIs from the Omicrons do" Empathy: ???: "They stick to their sequences, executing them as they exist"
[color=#DF0101]GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: oui GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Right. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: I still find it hard to believe, but that's just me. Empathy: ???: "After all, if you think about it, these AIs would need to be programmed to evaluate certain situations" GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: wars come and go but gallia and its empire will always be stronger then anyone Empathy: ???: "This evaluation process takes a lot of processing power and is mostly inefficient" GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: and i think AI plug or unpluged are not to be trusted GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Sounds like a simple machine to me. Empathy: ???: "That might be, because your expertise in Artifiicial Intelligence Technology is lacking knowledge. Not to be offensive" GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: i think you are collecting information to try to take over Empathy: ???: "Take over? A single AI like me? With all due respect, that sounds ridicolous" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: *chuckles* GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: maybe maybe not Empathy: ???: "I do believe, that even though, AI ships might be superior to certain ships, a single Drone cannot take over anything" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Even if that would be true, doubt that it'd accomplish anything. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: They will just fall, like any other who is fool enough to oppose us. Empathy: ???: "Exactly. The only thing resemblant to a "situation" like an AI trying to take over would be a mosquito annoying you" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Oui. Empathy: ???: "And, given the fact that AIs think logically, they would not even try to act against a whole Navy" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: You never know when something happens and suddenly turns hostile towards them. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: indeed Empathy: ???: "AIs are predictable, though. They simply act rational and logical." GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Not all of them are made to be perfect. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: hmmm....*signs* GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: At least 2 of 5 Drones will have issues when it comes to that. Empathy: ???: "That might be true about human-made AIs, but the unkown AIs from Kappa are impecably true to their sequences" Empathy: ???: "Not even the most complicated virus that is made by humankind can interfere with a superior AI" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Perhaps. I wouldn't know any of that since i'm not interested. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: All i care about is... finishing off the Libertonian et Bretonian fools. Empathy: ???: "So you live to fight, is that correct?" GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: for the king! Empathy: ???: "I see. So loyalty is a big aspect in the Royal Navy, I take it?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: I live to help His Majesty accomplish with His goals. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Oui. Empathy: ???: "Interesting" Empathy: ???: "Say, I've seen your weapon platforms in Tau-23 at Java Station. Do you have a lot of influence there as well?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Oui. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: It is now Gallic tarritory. Empathy: ???: "I see. But you still tolerate the IMG there, yes?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Somewhat. Empathy: ???: "Somewhat? Elaborate, please" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Whenever they act naughty towards us, they get punished. Et there's nothing they can do about it. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: i thik there are pest Empathy: ???: "Act naughty? What could they do to make you punish them?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Nothing to elaborate, i have my doubts about them. But that's just me, personally. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Well, for example, not do what they're told to do. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: they are not to be trusted Empathy: ???: "What do you usually tell the IMG to do?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Simply follow the orders. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Pretty much. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Et... Empathy: ???: "I see." GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Take the Ore to Gallia. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: If they refuse, which happened a lot lately, et i dislike that, they get punished. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Their ships will be material of construction for Junkers. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: i think the IMG is up to no good caught them talking to the Council the other day Empathy: ???: "Oh, the Junkers? How is your position towards them?" Empathy: ???: "So far, I personally haven't had good moments with the Junkers, so I'm very interested on that" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Gallic Junkers, that is. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: We have no interest in Sirian Junkers at the moment. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: As they want to oppose us as well. Empathy: ???: "Oh, i see. I did not know there were Gallic Junkers. That is interesting" Empathy: ???: "Say, could it be that you are very national? Meaning, you do not really work with foreign corporations?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: That's information i'd like to keep for myself. Empathy: ???: "Oh, I was not talking about you personally. I meant Gallia in general" Empathy: ???: "Is Gallia not too fond of working with other corporations?" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: I know what you mean. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Et i'd like not to share that. Empathy: ???: "Fair enough, I cannot force you" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Bon. Empathy: ???: "I must say, I am not sure, if you are really that confident in the war going on, given your very cautious behavior" Empathy: ???: "Not to say, you're being a bit paranoid" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Paranoid? GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Liberty has lost an entire fleet in they desperation to destroy one of our glorious Valors. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: No matter how hard they try, our forces will always be greater than theirs. Empathy: ???: "Still, a won battle is not a won war. Plus, you don't seem to have many allies, as far as I noticed" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Not to mention, superior. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: We came this far in such little time. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: We defeated Kusari. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Bretonia is on it's knees. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Et Liberty is soemwhere down there too. Empathy: ???: "Still, if you count the amount of enemies, you are outnumbered." Empathy: ???: "Even the weakest threat can have dangerous numbers"
[color=#FF0000]GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Numbers doesn't matter. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: As long as skill and power is by your side. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: I fight well out numbered Empathy: ???: "That is not true. You can be skilled as much as you physically can. If the numbers are too big, you stand no chance" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: You don't know us, then. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: You underestimate us. Empathy: ???: "I do not, but this doesn't matter." GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: indeed GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: So did Bretonia and Liberty, look at them now. Empathy: ???: "No matther the power, in combat, numbers are superior to skill" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Look at Kusari, who doesn't dare to toss a word to us,. Empathy: ???: "Fear the day, these forces combine. You might not survive this day" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: *chuckles* GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: You sound like a machine made in Bretonia in this moment. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: like he said you dont know us Empathy: ???: "Even the most skilled Admiral will not surviva a fight, where he's outnumbered 4 to 1" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: You are looking right now at the said Skilled Admiral. GLS-Sacha.Trudeau: salut Admiral GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: I've been outnumbered many times than i could even count. GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: As you may see, i am still here, explaining to you my life stories. Empathy: ???: "That might count for you, but you do not know the amount of forces, the other houses can mobilize" Empathy: ???: "Even if you survive fights where you are outnumbered, the number of 4 or 5 forces combined can still crush you" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: The question is, will they be fool enough to ally against us? Empathy: ???: "Anyhow, I think I gathered enough information now. I will move on." Empathy: ???: "Farewell, Gallics. And safe space" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Don't forget to say hello from me, to whoever receives this information. Empathy: ???: "I doubt I will" GRN|Ferdinand:Mounier: Adieu.

"However, because it is very likely that you do not have that much time on your hands, I will summarize what I can conclude from the conversation"
"But I apologize for any information you might already know"
"The Gallics are very confident in their own skills. Unhealthily confident."
"They seem to overestimate themselves as I doubt they'd stand a change against multiple houses"
"They are also extremely national, meaning they find everyone foreign shady and try to keep them as far out of their reach as possible, unless they can command them, like they do with the IMG"
"As it seems, they don't even aquire service of foreign corporations, which makes them unable to be damaged by economical sanctions from other houses"
"Their biggest source for moral seems to be their king, in whose name they wage this war"
"Also, they are very paranoid, immediately suspecting every foreigner of espionage"
"This is about everything I could gather so far. I might fly into Gallic space again in the future to try and gather more information"
"Until then I will continue my patrols in Coronado, keeping you updated"

Greetings,
*After a short pause Hadez clears his throat* "Ethan"
Calling a machine a human name is going to take some getting used too, please excuse me if I come off a little cold. You have done some great work here, the GRN's attitude towards IMG may give us some future leverage but for now we have closer problems. It has been confirmed that the Nomad threat is on our doorstep, now I'm trusting you here tin man so don't let me down. I need you to escort a bomber wing of ours to the area where you found these nomad gunboats, during this mission I want you to keep any hostile fighters off my bombers. After we have established a secure are we can begin light skirmishing to bring their numbers down and get a bigger picture of what their forces look like. before we move onwards with this strike, I have read through your reports, are you aware of any unoccupied asteroid fields that we could use for cover? those gunboats look deadly, it'd be nice to have a few rock shields..
"Affirmative, Hades."
"I will continue my patrol in Coronado until I get the signal from you to move. We will rendezvous either at the Jumpgate or Sabah Shipyard then."
"As for cover, there are the asteroid belts only. The outer one, which is rather open, and the inner Belt which is a bit more dense. However a gunboat classed vessel should be fine to pilot through."
"I will await your signal. I will do my best to keep these Bombers safe."

Although the overall success of the mission was arguable you my friend did exceedingly well. One on hand we lost no pilots of our own and collected a significant number of wild pilots, on the other we didn't sight a single gunboat and all the pilots have killed themselves leaving us with some rotting bodies... Despite my curiosity we don't really have the technology here to risk opening these guys up, they are safely contained but who knows what will be inside? We have reports that a Bretonian special wing has the capability to do this safely, I would ask you to investigate but spying on those we want to call friends probably isn't a good idea. We will attempt contact with them later but right now we are all having a drink about Carrier "The Guardian", after you literally saving our bombers backsides out there you're more than welcome by our crew so join us, it's probably about time we started getting used to what you look like!
