He smiles as she clings to him, then starts walking through the airlock, another hatch opening at the far side, revealing a small room with a door on either end of it, almost everything painted a dark grey color.
He turns to face her, placing his arms behind his back as he does. "Welcome aboard the Lansing, Inko, I know it doesn't look like all that impressive at first, but you'd be surprised at what she has hidden away. Is there any part of the ship you'd like to see first?"
"Uhhh... Now this place is getting to be worse than that bar..." She points at one of the doors. "I hope if I open it, we won't get sucked out into open space." She giggles. It reminded her of a sci-fi film.
"Well... Maybe the bridge? I always wanted to see how a bridge is like. With all the officers, and the great view to the space around." She takes his hands, smiling. " Then... Show me around the ship. Just to prove me that it isn't flying garbage." Inko goes on with the teasing.
"Sure, we can start at the bridge. As for the tour, well, I'll have to give you the civilian version. Can't let you see anything that's classified, I hope you understand." He starts walking down a corridor leading to the bow of the ship, having to lower his head to get through several hatchways due to his significant stature, Inko not having the same problem.
They quickly reach the bridge, Michael stepping into the room, filled with various displays, though a few of them are powered down, unnecessary while berthed on the station. The few people on the bridge go to salute him, but he wordlessly waves it off, walking to a centrally-located seat, raised slightly, thus allowing anyone seated in it to view any of the consoles around them. He looks over his shoulder at Inko. "Here we are. Feel free to look around, but please don't touch anything."
"Civilian version.... I might not want that tour after all. It sounds boring. Like wandering in a museum aimlessly." She asked for that trip to be with Michael, mostly. To see the enthusiasm on his face.
"Looks like the ship isn't exactly fit for your height. But, don't you worry, I'll.... Somehow squeeze you into my ship. I'll push you in, with both hands!" She giggles.
The central seat caught her attention of course, approaching it slowly. "Hmmmm, for sure it looks better on the inside..." She takes another two steps in the direction of the seat. "Can I?" She point at the seat, apparently wishing to sit into it.
He smiles as she jokes about getting him into her ship. "No, it's just that I can't show you certain areas of the ship, same policy we have for all civilians."
He steps aside slightly, motioning for her to sit down in the chair. "Be my guest. "
"Not like I would understand anything from the top-secret-baka-gaijin technologies." With little to no knowledge about ships, Inko would rather skip most parts of the tour too.
She almost hops into the captain's armchair, looking around on the bridge with an expression of some conceited high ranking officer. And of course, she just had to push a button she found there. It was the smallest of all, hoping it would do nothing.
Suddenly the back of the chair starts to vibrate slightly, causing Michael to laugh loudly enough to startle a couple of the servicemen on the bridge. "Good work, you found the back massager."
"Hmph!" Inko presses three other button, making sure to do it in the same area, so even I'm the worst case, only the chair would fly away. "At least it has a useful function."
"Uhh, not really.... I want to see the captain's closet, or whatever. At least the furnishings should be like you've told me." Inko gets up from the seat, mostly using Michael as a stable point to crawl out from the vibrating machine.
