Before we carry on with today's topics, we welcome Commander Anton Cooper of the Liberty Navy. Commander, it's a pleasure to meet you.

Commander Cooper, the Liberty Navy has announced yesterday to the Liberty Congress it made a significant technological breakthrough. Can you tell us more about it?

Absolutely. As you know, low quality cloaking devices of Junker origin have been flooding the black market for the past year, providing cheap but unreliable cloaking devices to Pirates, Freelancers and Smugglers. It has become a serious problem for law enforcement and corporations throughout Sirius as the attackers would vanish before they could be apprehended.

So this annoucement is related to cloaking devices?

Indeed. For the past few months, our engineers on Long Island Station have been prototyping a new kind of equipment we have named Cloak Disruptors and it has been a great success. We are currently assembling a new experimental factory module dedicated to the creation of these new equipment pieces.

Does it mean we will see these Cloak Disruptors in action very soon?

Definitely. The first batch is expected to be completed next week and will be deployed on vessels belonging to the Liberty Navy.

But is the Liberty Navy not afraid that just like for Cloaking Devices, this technology will be copied and end in the wrong hands?

It's a very good point. If you look at human history from the very beginnings, you will see it is inevitable. However it is a lesser concern than Cloaking Devices, criminals will not have much use for this Disruption technology. Besides, it will take a very long time before a group successfully engineers a cheap knock-off.
