Last night (this has nothing to do with the server status thread) I got an email from the company that makes the router software that I use right now. The version I have is approaching End-Of-Life service.
What does that mean? It means that the company will stop supporting it and providing up dates for it. The EOL Date is sometime August 2006. I'm gonna presume August 1st (Like Microsoft pulled a few years back) so I have to spend the week either rebuilding my router or finding a new way to set things up.
I'm rebuilding the router *TODAY* to save me some time later this week, as I have a lot of homework to do and need to spend the time working on it. The freelancer server is behind the firewall, so most likely it'll be down until i can get it back up.
Please be patient while I take care of this. When I'm done, i may migrate it to the new box Monday or tuesday, depending on when time allows (Mondays are always busy for me as I have my own school to teach at now..)
I'll keep you appraised. While the router is down, my internet access is not available.
Thank you.
