Background:
Freya was born on the research vessel "Visionary", commanded from her father and located in an undocumented area of the Omicrons. Her early life was special, really unusual for a young girl. She was the only child onboard, therefore she wasn't able to make friends of her age within the time staying on the vessel. Even though her parents gave the best to give Freya a mostly normal childhood, a classroom was arranged and the experts onboard were addicted to teach her, but also treated her as a normal pupil. Sadly even anyone took care of Freya a natural childhood wasn't possible afterall. The whole environment, the lack of same children of similar age, had driven Freya into isolation. While being alone she read and tried occupied herself with learning about several topics. Calling it learning might be understated, it could be rather called studying. At the age of a teenager Freya had become an expert in human history, culture, psychology, IT and software developing. Luckily her teachers noticed that she had begun to pass them into the stuff they wanted to teach her. So it was until her 16th birthday Freya received a really special present. It was decided to enable her the opportunity to leave the "Visionary" and to study at the University of Manhattan. Due to the reason Freya was far to young and she didn't have an official graduation, the crew managed to create perfect fake-papers which noone would ever mistrust.
Finally Freya was thrown into the environment of social life, people at same age, meeting new peoples, but most important a sky to look at without looking through a window, breathing of naturual air. The collection of these impressions impacted after while extremely. She had became lazy with studying and focused on things young people usually do, but affecting Freya with lifechanging results. Freya focused on partying, having fun with others. She tried to catch up anything she had missed while being isolated on the "Visionary. She got into her first relationship with a boyfriend at the age of eighteen, who she also had married quite in a short time out of any brainlessness. Accidently she got pregrant at the age of nineteen which had initiated her returning to a responsibility. With the birth of her son "Sam" she had returned into studying and she had managed to finish her exam in an incredible time of three years.
Being called Dr. Freya Samson, having a three year old son, Freya and her husband Grady focused on being a family as natural as written in an educational book of "How to be good parents". Grady had started working as a freelancing decrypter and had worked for several companies such as Ageira and DSE and Freya partially worked as a lecturer at the University. Anything seemed to be wonderful finally since that special day Freya received a call from an unknown caller. Grady was gone for a couple months working for an unknown employer within the deep Omicrons, but he got missed. Finding out, who was the employer at Manhattam was rather impossible, therefore Freya and Sam who was 9 years old packed the bags to seek for Grady.
Contacting the "Visionary" was rather impossible as it was sent out again for an expedition for the next years and was only expected to return in 822 A.S. With the arrival to the Omicrons Freya had first visited Freeport 9, after a while she had met a mysterious man who advised her to move to Corinth Research Station to contact a man called James El Harady.
Finally she had a hint, James El Harady, a rich explorer of old egypt origin was the employer of Freyas husband Grady Reznor. Gradys job was to decrypt an unknown code signature. While he had moved for scanning local systems with his unique routines, which ironically were invented from Freya once, contact to him got lost in Omicron Kappa, nor an emergency call, nor an automated call in case of destruction was sent.
Instantly Freya persisted to jump into the position of finishing the job of her husband. It was rather quick James got aware of her talents. Eventually she had managed to decypher the code within an incredible short time. It appeared to be a really really foreign sychronization or communication signal.
It was until 815 A.S. a similar code fragment emitting from Omicron Kappa was detected and an unbelievable discovery took place with an ever changing impact on Freya.
Freya: Where am I? Minerva? Is it you? A pleasent beautiful female voice appeared in Freyas mind. Minerva: Yes. I was forced to drag you out of your previous reality. Freya reminded the latest event, but it was different to her previous way she had used to remind. It was like she experienced the event itself once again, any detail was visible. She smelled the air, she felt the coldness, she saw and heard James, Bacchus and Eli. Freya noticed that she could move in her memory. Freya: This is fascinating. Minerva: This is how we used to process. We simultaneously simulate and evaluate any result out of any variables. Your mind still uses to process in the previous pattern, but you will learn to adapt it. Freya: But this isn't the reality. This is just a simulation isn't it? Minerva: It is a simulation, aswell as the reality is a simulation of the human brain. An individual processing of external impressions. Freya: Hmm. I understand. I guess I understand. Am I able to get into the human reality? Minerva: Of course.
Minerva: I have seen your memory. Your voyage to find your partner. Close to a delusion. Draggin your child into the eddy of your quest. It was like a mirror reflection of herself was talking to Freya. Two beings, who exactly looked same sat infront of each other surrounded from the memorial environment of a bar in New Manhattan. Freya: I know about my path and my decissions. It isn't excusable that I have forced Sam into this, but what else should I have done? Minerva: There wasn't anything else available. A direct control was not available. Your actions were close to be driven from an instinct. Even though this seems to be really exotic for your kind. Finally the action has directed you into the most efficient situation to find your answers. Freya: Propably, but I or we need to save Sam first. I am responsible for him. Minerva: I support this request, but Sam is save for now. The current task is the Core, they are near, they will soon attack Gammu. The Memento wasn't programmed for this situation. It is not save here and it propably will be destroyed. My shell must be prepared for that scenario to carry on the memory. Freya: I know the persons we need to contact. Even though it somehow felt like a conversation it wasn't a conversation at all. Any memory, any priority, any idea was directly in Freyas mind. Without having a delay to remember. Minerva: I know. The environment collapsed and Freya found herself sitting in front of the communication console of the Kramer Construction under Gammus surface. She started to open a new long-range transmission and typed in the code Delta Gamma Tango Tango 0523784 Visionary. She watched at the recording device and started to speak. Freya: Dad. I need your help.
