To The Rhineland Bundestag,
Hello,
My name is James Blake; I am the Commander of the Research Vessel Okeanos Explorer, a modified bustard carrier. I am contacting the Bundestag today with regards to Article Four, Section 1.3 of the Rheinland Laws. Currently my vessel isn’t allowed within Rhineland space due to these laws; however I do see that my vessel could be allowed into your space provided I have written permission from the Bundestag. I have included a draft copy of my vessels registration information below.
Quote:Callsign: R/V-Okeanos.Explorer Commander: James Blake Ship Papers: Zoner ID and Zoner IFF
Intentions in Rhineland: Moving to and from Heisenberg Research Station, in the Koeln system. I would be happy as well to comply with a system restriction to only; Omega 11, Omega 7, Stuttgart, and Koeln. Cargo (if any), which would be transported: nothing beyond the extra supply the vessel always carries. Weapons Systems:
4xSolaris Cruiser Turrets
4xZoner Cruiser Turrets
I would be happy to negotiate any and all points listed above. The Okeanos would not need to visit Heisenberg often. Only for major refits of our sensor arrays or for resupply of our own stockpiles.
Regards,
James Blake
Commander R/V-Okeanos.Explorer
PRIORITY:Medium ENCRYPTION:Medium IDENTIFICATION:Laura Caspers, Staatssekretärin of the Bundeskabinett Sekretariat SOURCE:Bundeskanzleramt, Planet New Berlin SUBJECT:Your request to RHEINLAND Bundestag
Guten Tag, Herr Blake. My name is Laura Caspers and I am Staatssekretärin of the Bundeskabinett Sekretariat. I was authorized by the Rheinland Government to handle this issue.
After reading your message and attached information, I will directly request more information from you, mainly about you and your activities, like who do you work for and what exactly you do.
Reason is that I was informed that it seems you are quite unknown person in Rheinland and there were not any contacts with you before. But issuing enter permission for carrier class ship is very delicate matter connected to house security, thus the applicant must be considered as very trustworthy person.
Speaking of which - can you also provide referencies about your trustworthiness from any organization or at least point us to those who can provide such information?
Last but not least - are there docking modules installed on your ship? If ja, we will need information about types and who you allow to dock there.
Oh and final issue from your message, also important - I could not miss your basic ignorance about name of the party you are asking for something. This is not Rhineland, never was and never will be.
This...is...Rheinland!
Or The Bundesrepublik Rheinland if you want full name.
So, Herr Blake, if you want to send message to Rheinland Bundestag, to get permission according the Rheinland laws to fly in Rheinland space, make sure you know what is the right name. If anyone expect from us to be treated with respect, he should show respect in the first place. Distortion of the name of our house makes impression of disrespect what may cause same attitude from us. Thus don´t repeat this mistake in any of your messages again.
