now the most anoying thing in all of freelancer is..example: say youve just joined the rheinland militery. then you create a new charecter. then sadly your in liberty with no tag what so ever. you have to fly all the way to new berlin. then you've go to get a rep. its a nightmare! here is a slight sugestion! we have a special thing like:/joinfaction<factionname>. you will still have a starflier but you will be in the home planet of that faction like: new berlin, new london, manhatten, new tokyo. and you will have a full rep with them. this means no stupid fussing over how you get there.

so what you think?

and it sorts the rep out automatically for that character while only being able to use it once. It could work but you cannot do it for all factions, because some like the phantoms would just be abused, while the rep has to be normal rep not guard.

if done correctly, it would be great but as dei said, we would have more problems with rubbish rp with those groups. so its a double edged sword, it could help those good with rp but ruin the rp with those who cant

I believe, (and its only a belief at teh mo) that something like this is getting implemented into 4.85.
From other discussions I think thats going to happen, although the only ones who can definitively answer that is the admins.

If it was just medium-green normal rep, then RPer's don't have to earn it, they just pay 500k-ish for it.

It would definitely help for those who want to get the hardest rep that SHOULD be the easiest. Which is Freelancer. But that is just my feeling. I understand why it is so hard. It suppose to be because its not suppose to be affected much by the interactions with other factions.
