There's a screen showing a few seconds before the destruction of science-vessel-border-45. A tiny piece of metal is ejected from ship and shot into deep empty space, just before the destruction. No-one sees the ejected data floating in space... And they leave it there.
But now... Some ooRP power trader spots that artifact and sells it on Manhattan. And... Wrong hands grab it. The Sirius is once again in danger of NPC revolt...
*exciting music similar to Pirates of Caribbean theme music*
i found a artifact in conecticut and im going to sell it on manhatan and then buy BH BC than i will be t3h roxorz!!!!1! pew pew!

Anonymous log #33:
That strange guy got the artifacts shipment down to Manhattan again. I've just examined it and all seemed to be clear, except for one artifact. It seems to be different. I'm selling it to some wealthier customer. Manhattan is crawling with them. I just have to pick the right one, and I'm flying of this rock rich! Anyways, I'm keeping it in my pocket for safekeeping.
I spotted some weird guys crawling around everywhere I go'¦ They seem to be following me. I just have to sell that damn thing, fly of that rock and find some safe place. Maybe Curacao would do.
Better start looking for a'¦

"Pwnt!", Yelled RoXoRzBlAdE while handling the blaster like a cowboy.
"Dont be so loud and speak normal, you noob! NPCs may not hear us speaking so Or they may find out theyre just programs", shouted at him LulzMaster.
"Yeah, I know. *sigh* So, what now?"
"Destroy the artifact, of course. And hide the body. Lets get somewhere deep in space and destroy that thing there."
"Alright. Let me just get one of these new Twix chocolates. They're so good. Salvaged from the old slipership, interesting, huh?"
"Yeah, yeah Just do it quickly. Meanwhile, Ill hide the body."
*after a few minutes*
"Ok, lets go."
RoXoRzBlAdE just nodded while chewing the Twix-Mix. He was getting in the ship when the old engines already started screaming.
"Cmon!", yelled LulzMaster while watching his clumsy friend.
After they cleared the docking ring, LulzMaster turned the old Rhino towards Detroit Debris Field. "We can eject and destroy the thing there."
RoXoRzBlAdE just nodded and said: "Yeah."
When they arrived at the place LulzMaster looked at his friend and said: "Its time."
"Yeah..."
"So, give me the artifact."
"What artifact?"
"Dont be stupid, the artifact."
"I thought you had it..."
"What? You had it!"
"Uh-oh... You mean that strange piece of junk... Err, I mean, metal?"
"Yeah..."
"Whoops I I traded it for Twix..."
"Oh, man..." *facepalm*

One of our spies got a strange log. He said he traded it for a Twix-Mix and may be an artifact. When I saw the recordings, I knew it isn't an artifact, but a human made log. But it gained my attention again when we got scans of it. Its not just a log, but a whole archive of data. And thats not all. Its recordings are from our missing sistership science-vessel-border-45.
Weve ordered the spy to return to border worlds immediately.
He should be here any moment.

Crewman: Weve got contact! It may be our spy!
Captain: Alright, give him on my speaker.
Crewman: Aye-aye.
Captain: Unknown ship, please identify yourself.
Unknown contact: Is this *hic* Captain of Border Worlds Science *hic* Vessel?
Captain: Yes, and may I ask you who you are?
Unknown contact: Yes, you may I ask.
*after a moment*
Captain: And Who are you?
Unknown contact: Im not telling you, hahaha*hic*haha
Captain: I'm warning you, identify yourself, or we will cut the comm!
Unknown contact: Are you sure? *hic* I've got something really important to tell you...
Captain: I'm not interested. Control, cut the comm!
Unknown contact: Not even if it'll save your daughter's *hic* life?
Captain: What What do you have to say about my daughter's life?
Unknown contact: Nothing. Hahaha*hic*hahahaha!

Spy: Captain, do you hear me? I've got the log... You wont believe it. It really is from our missing sistership.

We just got the log. Its heavily damaged, all the transmitions except log recordings from 155-166 are gone. It looks like the log recorder hit the ejecting module (while ejecting), because it couldnt open at the right time. At least some of the recordings survived.
As we already know, the recordings are from our sistership science-vessel-border-45. The vessel has gone missing 3 months ago. No-one knows what became of the vessel or its crew, even their spies are gone. We asked around and there are rumors that the vessel was destroyed by nomads while doing some research on them. Apparently, nomads didn't like what they've been doing.
We will soon find out the truth, when we get the first report on the log.

You know the deal. Do it quickly. We need to get those blueprints. They are in two of the ships(wrecks) listed in the mission details. The only way of getting them is getting those two wrecks to the nearby base we set up. There we can examine them and construct the ultimate tool that can help us against the NPC rebellion. The future of this is server and Discovery GC is in your hands. Dont fail me as RoXoRzBlAdE and LulzMaster did.
Transmition over

Argo 1: Argo wing, do you read me? Argo 2: Loud and clear. Argo 3: Reporting for duty. Argo 4: I'm listening... Argo 1: As Igiss said, we have to make it quickly. If we don't get those blueprints, we will never get the chance of preventing NPC revolt. The future of this server is in our hands. You know the deal: As soon as we find that two ships we board them and take control. Argo 2 will take care of that. If there is need for repairs, Argo 3 will help him. Meanwhile we will guard the wrecks and destroy any objects that could threaten the mission. Got it? Argo 2, 3: Got it. Argo 4: You couldnt be any clearer, commander. Argo 1: Alright, lets move! Form on me.
And so they moved out. Commander put the throttle to full and soon they were cruising at full speed. Cruise engines seemed a little bit unstable as they went farther and farther into the nebula. Ionizing field soon started jamming their computer, lighting started to strike from everywhere. But there was no fear for trained men such as them...
Argo 2: *gasp* Whats that? Argo 1: Calm down, its just an asteroid...
And soon they saw something.
Argo 3: I think I see them... Yup, a pair of UFOs, both rusty and abandoned. Argo 2: I'm going in! Argo 1: Carefully, their cores might be unstable. Argo 2: Dont worry, I got it.
While Argo 2 was slowly attaching to the one of the strange ships, the others put up defensive positions around the two wrecks.
Argo 2: I'm in. Lets see... This thing is heavily damaged. Computer is not responding. We'll have to repair it. Argo 3: Ok, looks like a job for me. I'm coming in. Argo 2: Alright.
After Argo 3 got in he soon started to put the ship computer to pieces.
*after a while*
Argo 3: Ok, I think Ive got it. Argo 1: Good.
*some strange sparking noises* Argo 3: Maybe not. Meh, its not working. Argo 1: *sigh* Looks like well have to wait.
*after a while*
Argo 3: Ok, Ive got it now. Argo 2: Finally... Argo 3: Err, no, wait. It's not working... Again. Argo 2: Argh...
*after a while*
Argo 3: It has to work now. But no... That damn Rheinland made connectors are screwed...
*a second later*
Argo 2 doesn't look friendly...
*another second later*
Argo 2: Argh! Rheinland, Liberty, Bretonia, whatever it is, it's all made in Kusari! *kick* *kick* *punch* *kick* *kick* *kick* Argo 3: Wait! What are you doing?! Stop it, you'll ruin it!!
While Argo 3 tries to hold back Argo 2 the computer suddenly starts working.
Argo 3: What the hell? It's working... Argo 2: As I said, all the computers are made in Kusari. And for all you need the same treatment. Argo 1: The party's over. Get to the other ship; we need both out of here, and quickly. We already spent way too much time here.
*after a while*
Argo 3: Ok, we've successfully boarded the ship. Computer seems to be damaged, like on the other wreck. I'll have to... Argo 2: Get out of the way, special treatment on the way! *kick* *kick* *kick* *kick* Argo 3: Stop it! Its not going to work You just had luck last time! Argo 2: What?! You'll see "luck"! *kick* *kick* Argo 3: It has no effect... Argo 2: Just a little bit more! *kick* *kick* *kick* Argo 3: Give up, you're just ruining it! Argo 2: I'm repairing it! Argo 3: You'll just hurt your foot! Argo 2: Hah, my foot? Never! Why would my foot hurt, I mean heh...*cough*Ouch. Argo 3: What? Argo 2: Nothing. Argo 1: Look, can you repair that thing or not? Argo 3: Just give me more time!
*after 2 hours*
*and another 2 hours*
Argo 3: Commander, I think I can't repair that one. Argo 1: You must be kidding. Argo 3: Unfortunately, I'm not. Argo 4: Have you guys thought of just turning the on/off switch to on? Argo 3: Errr... What? Err I mean, of course thats exactly what I was going to do! Argo 1: *facepalm* Argo 3: Ok, its operational! We have them both under control. We can get them to the temporary base Igiss added for this mission. Argo 1: Lets move out!
Argo 1: Igiss, we have them under control! They'll be at the station in 30 minutes. Admin Council: What took you so long? Argo 1: Errr... We had some... Complications.

All the data from Project Lolwut has been added to our database. We've set the highest priority to researching their project. It's getting serious. Our sistership was destroyed for some reason. We will make sure, that their sacrifice will not go in vain.
Meanwhile, now, that it's official that our sistership has been destroyed, we will take their call-sign, which is science-vessel-border-45. We actually have the same ship configuration, so some people won't even recognize the difference.
The only thing different is interior. Though exterior is almost totally identical to our sistership. It's a heavily modified border worlds transport. We have different additional scanners, reactor tuned up to three times of power of the original one and some extra armor plating. The reactor may be a little unstable, but we need such power to run all the equipment in the labs. Hell, all the cargo space is filled up with lab rooms and equipment. Sometimes you can see lights shining very poorly as the reactors are struggling to run all the labs at the same time. I'm wondering how our sistership could run with engines at full speed and all of the lab equipment turned on.
Now, some things about the log. All the information is in the database**, but there are some things I've noticed and it's strange that I haven't noticed them before. The log says that their spies have noticed a lot of ships passing through S-13 jump-hole in New Berlin, without people noticing. The same goes for me, I haven't noticed that before too. Strange enough that...
*background voice*: Captain, I brought you cookies.
Captain: Nice, my favorite. And, errr Tanya?
*background voice*: Yes, Captain?
Captain: Next time, try not to interrupt me when I'm making a log.
*background voice*: Oh, sorry Captain, I forgot that.
Captain: No problem. (quietly): Blondie.
*clears throat* Well, where was I? Oh, yes. The more I look upon the life in Sirius, the more I think were living like robots. We're just repeating all the battles, there are thousands of wars, but nothing or nobody seems to be progressing. I feel so artificial...
Meh, I'm starting to speak insanities. I think thats enough for today.

Background voice: Warning, nomad ships on scanner.
Captain: Damn alarm clock! Just a few more minutes.
Background voice: Warning, nomad ships on scanner.
Captain: Ugh, damnit, why won't that thing turn off?!
Background voice: Warning, nomad ships on scanner.
Captain: Wait... What? That doesn't sound like my alarm clock...
Background voice: Warning, nomad ships on scanner.
Captain: Oh, s***! Crew, wake up! Get to your stations! It's... It's the Keepers!
Crewman: Forward cannon on-line!
Crewman2: Engines show green!
Crewman3: Generator running at 100%!
And so the ship was getting prepared. A few seconds after the systems came on-line, the ship jolted as it was fired upon by the most fearsome nomad fighters.
Anonymous player: ***-indistinguishable noises, similar to human voices-***
Captain: Fire! Fire!
Crewman4: We've been hit by a torpedo, shields down!
Captain: Evade!
Ship made a keen turn, evading another torpedo. Nomad bombers rejoined formation, and turned towards the vessel to make the final deadly pass.
Captain: They're in close formation, fire cluster torpedoes, now!
A massive torpedo emerged from the vessel and screamed towards the bombers in formation. And collided head on with one of the bombers...
Crewman: Direct hit, 2 targets down, 2 remaining!
Captain: Evade again!... Fire, now!
Crewman: Successful hit, again!
Captain: FIRE!
Crewman: Another wing closing in fast Captain, we've got to get out of here!
Captain: Engage cruise engines!
The ship gained enough distance to ensure survival.
Captain: That was close... I was thinking a bit. We're gonna make night guards again, every night someone else.
Crewmen: Oh, no...
Captain: We have to.
