Will not stop crashing

Had this problem months ago when I tried playing this mod, recently found the CD and thought id reinstall it and try play it again. Back then most times when I undocked, it would crash me to desktop, and about 20 seconds later give me the error and close it. Got the problem again now. Tried reinstalling the mod, didnt work. Tried installing the mod with a different version of FL Mod Manager, didnt work. Reinstalled the whole game and reinstalled mod, didnt work. Reinstalled in a different place, didnt work. Installed the 1.1 patch, didnt work. Installed the 1.4 patch, didnt work. Meanwhile at the same time on my brothers PC it works just fine with just the mod installed. We are playing on a LAN with server running on this PC, is it possible that that is the problem. If not, has anyone else encountered this that knows the fix?

go into mydocuments/mygames/freelancer and int hat folder youl find you single player saves and some multiplyer accounts delte them then try it
