The next phase of the re-instation of the Empire as the rightful ruling body of House Kusari has begun. We require your assistance once more.
As we have been informed, the Nansei Research Complex continues to be heavily staffed by Samura employees, as well as being mainly supplied by your corporation. The station provides a risk, however, as it currently is still in the hands of the republican traitors and would grind any further adventures in Kyushu to a halt. As we cannot risk being stabbed in the back this way, the Daihon'ei has worked out a plan to help with this.
The Operation we are conducting requires two particular things done by you. The first would be to move most, if not all, Samura personnel off the Station. Make it look like a regular crew shift, bring them off-station, so we can begin our next phase.
This phase will consist of the complete lockdown of the station by our forces. With a part of our troops screening and harassing Nagumo's Battlefleet, the republicans will hardly have many forces to defend the patrols. What we would need of you here is any data on the convoys that you can receive. Dates, Plans, Shifts, etc. Make sure that your transports that you're sending there are not staffed fully as well as instructed to cooperate - that will put a further hit on the KNFs defenses there.
You will furthermore not lose any cargo that you are shipping there: Any cargo that gets interdicted will be moved to Tokai Shipping Platform, to await redistribution in the Empire.
If you manage to execute this, we plan to have Nago surrendering by the end of the month, maybe a few weeks later. It needs to be done quickly, and this way, a great deal of civilian casualties can be avoided.
I leave this matter in your competent hands, as recent cooperations have shown a great deal of responsibility and competence on your side. I also advise you to fill in your... Friends in the Farmers Alliance of this particular endeavor. While most of their forces are still bound in Nagano, help from their side will always be welcome.
To:Kaigun Shosa From:Shinjuku Station - New Tokyo Subject:Kyushu operation
Konnichiwa honourable Kaigun Shosa-san,
After the last transmission with the Imperial forces we have promised that Samura supply runs and personnel on Republican installations will be reduced to lower numbers, some are still present to preserve the view that Samura is taking a neutral stance in the war, but those remaining are not many. We have fulfilled that promise and reasoned it as shortage of personnel on Samura research outposts as well as Nagano and Kurile crisis. I had an idea about this new mission. It has been a while since our current teams there have seen deserved vacations and I think this is the perfect time for that.
We will send passenger transports for our personnel and ship them off to other Samura installations while the next day the replacements ''should arrive''. During that 24 hours gap you will have time to lay siege to Nansei. After you have done so and proceeded with your plan Samura will have a viable excuse not to send it's personnel into the war zone and station under siege.
About the convoys we will still be sending to western Kyushu, those will be only bounded for Shinkaku Station and of course same will be coming back. The crew manning them has already been instructed how to handle them selves and you don't have to worry about that part. As for the republican convoys, we will try to get our hands on their plans, dates and everything else needed to stop them. A optional quest for the siege operation, try not to damage it critically. Station hold the latest research plans for various technological advancements for both Naval Forces and Imperial Forces in the future as well as Samura. For those reasons caution is advised.
The Farmers Alliance will be informed to assist in Kyushu operation against the Naval Forces. Hitting them on multiple sides is always a good tactic.
Good luck in your new advances in Kyushu, I wish you all the best and in good time to meet on Kyushu Planet and later... on New Tokyo...
