The woman bows her head very slightly before speaking as she appears on screen.
"It's very probable nobody in your organization remembers who I am, or the...business interests, that we used to share. Likewise I can't claim an awareness of who's calling the shots within your ranks at present, anyway, I would like to rectify that situation....what I mean is that I should like for us to become familiar with one another again."
She pauses for a moment before continuing.
"You see, I captain a ship called The Heavy Metal Queen...and I ship things that old Sylpheed was pretty fond of. Well I used to...it's a long story, but surely you understand...hai? So to the point, what I am proposing is that you all provide me with...relative shelter, and in return, you fine people get the first pick of all the guns, drugs, and women...or boys if that's your thing I guess? that you could ever -possibly- want as I move it through your territories."
Akaisha shrugs slightly, a subtle smirk appearing for a moment.
"A seemingly random proposal, I know, I know...but I'm pretty good at what I do, and I don't see why we can't help each other out like in the old days...anyway, you know how to reach me now so...let me know, Hai?"
She bowed her head once again as the screen faded to black.
Well now, this is a blast from the past. I wouldn't have thought to have that particular shipname pop up like this again, though perhaps these days I am not paying as much attention anymore. Welcome back to Liberty, I suppose. You will no doubt notice that things have changed around a tad since your last visit.
Do not even bother mentioning Sylpheed, the name does not hold a gram of power these days. The man himself bailed on what he had worked on and, when there was a chance for him to return to the fray, he chose retirement and the lap of luxury, rather than the quarters we once had on Buffalo.
Yotaka, White, Jones, Mokka. Their presence is unknown and nobody seems to be in a hurry to check. There is no order anymore, no central form of command or anyone who will bother to hold the whole situation together. Quite truthfully, most of our installations have become large enough to outright break off from what was once Sylpheed's group and establish rules and territories and influence of their own. The Rogues these days are perhaps more than one person can handle. Not that it is a bad thing. Though be prepared to deal with every single rogue installation on your own if that is the case.
But oh well, I am still around when I bother to be. How about a date?

I remember your ship, from quite a while ago. I was never to keen on the details you an' the other bosses had for yer' dealin', but I suppose you done sorta' explained it. You ain't probably met me before, so howdy, I go by Red, sometimes I make things dead. S'all there is to it.
Now, you contacted us at a pretty rough time, seein' as there ain't no figurehead so to speak around. However, you had previous dealings as I mentioned before with the Warlords and all that, so I can respect that, an' I dare say if you find yer' self out my way down to Fortaleza, you'd be welcome to take refuge. 'Course, we ain't exactly got a need for anythin' you offered just yet, leechin' off miners 'n such, but you'd best keep an open mind and your nose clean in our territory.
