Rheinwehr Promotion Requirements


All requirements are non-cumulative, and must be completed while serving as the rank indicated. Ship qualifications may be requested after sufficient experience with the class.

[+]Kadett to Flieger or Fahnrich
  • 5 hours of flight time
  • Recommendation for good service from an officer bearing at least Leutnant rank
    Note: if this is not achieved in a month, the candidate is considered to have failed their probation, and is removed from the ranks of the Rheinwehr. They may choose to reapply at a later date.

[+]Flieger to Gefreiter
  • 10 hours of flight time
  • Participation in at least one raid or patrol
  • Participation in at least one fleet action
  • Progress towards a fighter or bomber qualification
  • Recommendation for good service from an officer bearing at least Leutnant rank

  • 20 hours of flight time
  • Participation in at least two raids or patrols
  • Participation in at least two fleet actions
  • Achievement of a fighter or bomber qualification
  • Recommendation for good service from an officer bearing at least Oberleutnant rank

  • 30 hours of flight time
  • Participation in at least three raids or patrols

  • Achievement of both fighter and bomber qualifications
  • Recommendation for good service from an officer bearing at least Oberleutnant rank

  • Recommendation for good service from a member of the Oberkommando
  • Majority vote by all members of the Oberkommando
    Note: In order to receive a recommendation from an Oberkommando member, you must coordinate with them to be employed in a role which fits your strengths and the current requirements of the Kaiserliche Rheinwehr. You will then be expected to carry out your orders by organizing taskforces consisting of lower-ranked individuals within the Rheinwehr.
