Good evening.

I was recently informed to reach out the Ministry of Defence concerning supposed diplomatic relations concerning your pilots and my people, of Battlegroup Auxesia.

Before I start off, I would like to request evidences and quotes to the breach of laws that our pilots apparently committed in the past.

I believe the origin of this unneeded hostility was purely made over a simple misunderstanding of our people and I hope to purify this rotten link between our people. But let's start off small anyway.

Greetings, Miss Raven.

My name is Daniel Garvey and I am the head of the Ministry of Defense within the Crayter Republic. Indeed, I was briefed on the delicate situation the group you represent finds itself in. Moreoever, I should mention that Minister Spiros informed me you previously contacted the Republic but without any continued discussion. I do find that curious.

Nevertheless - moving on to the matter at hand. The incident you are speaking of is quite simple and I have attached all the required materials to this transmission. But I will take this moment to explain:
A member of your group - identified as A/)-SV-Auriga - was caught within the Republic's space carrying what we deem as illegal cargo, namely Synthetic Marijuana. When halted, and asked to comply to the laws, by our officers this person refused to do so, while attempting to claim it knew our laws better than our officers, and proceeded to run away towards the Barrier Gate Station. Due to the hostile behaviour of certain freelancers which seemed to help or otherwise "follow" the vessel Auriga, our officers were forced to open fire and a certain amount of chaos ensued later on.

To elaborate further:
Indeed, based on Article I, Section 4, Entry 1 - the Republic chooses to tolerate an area where our laws are... permissive. However - your vessel was caught by our officers outside the said 5k radius. Moroever, due to your vessel's unwillingness to comply to our officers' demands, he violated our laws even further.

Of course, should this have been nothing more than a misunderstanding or - what i believe - misconduct from one of your less knowledgeable people, then there may be ways to settle the issue.
The payment of fines for the respective criminal activities is necessary for those past crimes to be excused. Given the situation, a 1.500.000 SC fine is applied for smuggling and another 1.500.000 SC fine for failure to comply with military officers. That sums up to 3.000.000 SC to be sent to CR|-Treasury. Do note that paying this fine will not mark your group exempt from future crimes.
Moreoever, should you or your people have to transport certain goods through Republic space, for research or other lawful purpose, you can contact the Crayter Republic Government and request a licence.

Good evening, Mister Garvey.

Firstly, I apologise for the delay. We've been dealing with some more... foreign entities of interest. Secondly, I also apologise for the mis-identification of the Republic.

Anyway. To the point.

Thank you for clarifying the situation, I believe this was a situation blown out of proportion by miscommunication internally in our group, and externally by other participants. As I have explained before to your pilots multiple times that the intention of the vessel was to execute some research tests on some bio-organic materials. I believe what caused my pilots to misbehave was fear and their loyal protective nature of their work, especially the small quantities of it, which caused them to react in a ... negative manner. Additionally, concerning the Freelancer pilots near them, they are merely allies who were escorting our vessels.

Though, I was also told that there were more incidents, which is also amongst the reason I inquired about situations, though, it doesn't appear that other issues were caused. Because of the misunderstanding, I believe I can cover the fine for what felony my involved pilots have committed. I hope this shines a new light on the path of the future between our people.

I'm more than pleased to see we can understand one another clearly. Your payment has been received and I believe there isn't much more to say. As I have previously stated - in order to avoid such incidents, you should let your people know to contact my office or that of the Minister of Interior to request a permit for transporting otherwise illegal goods.

I bid you farewell and should we work together in the future, it would be pleasing, considering your people frequently fly through Coronado.
