The story so far has been broken up between several communications and an ingame event. I am now posting the entire story with a full breakdown of everything that has happened so far. I will put in links to make navigating the various forum posts a little easier.
Our story began with an idea. How to role play the return of Arbiter James Trenton? Rather than do it entirely in house, we decided it would be to the benefit of the community to reach out and get as many factions/members involved as possible. We began with a single transmission from James' wife and current Arbiter Mia Trenton. A long time loyal friend of James' Wild Bill Hickok (a former Arbiter himself) took heed of the call. Bill pledged not only his support, but assistance in funding the search. Many fine folks throughout Sirius pledged to help find James, some of which held less than nice intentions.
Our first major break was a former LPI detective Harold McDunnough. Mr. McDunnough claimed to have been escorting James into Liberty during a time of great strife for the Junkers Congress. He alleged that a Colored Liberty Rogue destroyer shot down the ship that both James and himself were in. The news was not entirely bad, as we now knew that James had made it out in an escape pod and was picked up by this Rogue.
During our search a long time friend of Hickoks' came to our aid. Namely, Mr. Yoshida of the Lane Hackers. Through their elite hacking skills they were able to recover a few recent logs of James' flagship JunkerTown being flown throughout Sirius. This ship and it's current pilot may of held the means to finding James. Bill immediately asked for help from the people that pledged their support. He also privately contacted several of the folks he felt could immediately assist in it's capture. Putting up a substantial reward seemed like the only course of action to motivate all the people involved. Now knowing that Mr. Yoshida and the Lane Hackers had been the most successful thus far in the search, Bill once again contacted his friend. At this point Bill was desperate to find James and so, he offered double the reward to the only faction that seemed to be able to successfully track him down.
While Bill was frantically trying to find his long time friend via contacts and rewards, Mia pursued a different lead. It is unknown as to whether or not Mia trusted this McDunnough, or if something he said rang true. Contacting the pilot of the (:C)Washington.White seemed like the best option for her to get answers. A Rogue named Addic responded to her call. Addic admitted to taking James after firing upon a police vessel, claiming he never fired a shot at the ship JunkerTown. From the very onset of the conversation Addic threw thinly veiled threats at Mia concerning James' life. Mia demanded a meeting to discuss the possible exchange of credits for James' life. The price proved right and a meeting place was set.
Unwilling or emotionally unable to face Addic alone, Mia called on Bill to initiate the meeting in Puerto Rico. At the time it was believed a Wrecker equipped with a Capitol Armor Upgrade MKVIII would sufficiently provide a "show of force" capable of deflecting any ill mannered behavior. We were wrong. Addic arrived in Puerto Rico, on board a Rogue Scylla, armed to the teeth. What took place in Puerto Rico cannot be fully described, but must be seen. Addic not only demanded the 1,000,000,000 sc, but the abandoned outpost near the Humboldt Jump Hole. Not wanting to call his bluff, Mia handed Carolina Outpost over to Addic against Bills objections.
Inquisitor Erikasaria Espinosa was the first person to physically spot .:j:.JunerTown. The ship was seen in Omicron Alpha. It was unclear as to what JunkerTown was doing on Malta, however, this was the first step in the right direction.
At present, James is still unconscious, but receiving treatment on board Mia's ship. It is unknown as to whether or not he will wake up. As for his flagship, JunkerTown, it has not been captured as of yet.
