I got you your scans. Hopefully, this'll keep you out of Liberty in future - or, in the event that it doesn't, it'll be your funeral. Either way, I'm strongly, strongly advising against you coming back in any sort of easily identifiable craft, or pretty much at all.
I got my craft bathed in a special sort of radiation to get these, so I really hope you at least appreciate them. I'm no expert when it comes to identifying stellar phenomena, but I really can't think what you'd want with this thing. As near as I can tell, it's just a radioactive ball of white-hot matter. Either way, the paint's started flaking off the front end, and I've never been gladder to be wearing my flight suit. Regulations really do save lives, huh?
If I need or want anything in return, I'll make sure to give you a call. Otherwise, I hope I was able to help you out. Like I said, though - the less chance I give anyone to dig up these tight-beam transmissions out towards the Kusari border, the less I think I'm likely to regret sending them in the first place. Get in touch if those scans aren't good enough for you.
I must apologize for my late response. The thick dark matter clouds in the Kepler system affected my transmitter in a way that I couldn't send a reply until now. Surely, I was told to avoid those clouds, but I was devoured by curiosity.
Regarding the scans, I can't thank you enough for them. Even if your intentions were only to keep me away from Liberty, thus avoiding the breach of the law.
I am really grateful for all that you have done for me. Sadly, radiation is to be expected near stellar anomalies, such as this Baxter object. While I do have some ideas, and guesses about the use of this object, I can't say anything for sure. Researchers wished to "harvest" the energy coming from the anomaly, and use the energy to fuel vessels. That's all I know for sure. - Anyways... I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear me expressing my thoughts about the phenomena any longer.
Regarding the compensation for your efforts, I would gladly offer anything. Let that be another culture shock, in form of a dinner given by a Maltese, or items from far away places, or even credit compensation. It is unlikely that anyone would intercept this transmission, I'll make sure to encrypt this message accordingly.
