just this morning a sad information has reached me.
Eli Starkweather, the dean of the Outer Rim University was found dead at his apartement on Corinth Station. Extended information regarding the circumstances will be handled by the local News Services.
With his dead I would regulary take the role to be dean of the Outer Rim University, but I personally don't see myself socially able suiting this position.
Therefore I want to apply a submission of the Outer Rim University to the Confederation of Freeports and pass the administration into the hands of the Ingenuus Research Group.

Dear Wes,

I am sorry that I haven't answered yet, but the news was a hard shock. You obviously know about my relation to Eli and I still can't believe he won't be here with his heart-warming presence and I sadly needed my time to get a clear head again.
Still, I can't speak seriously, but I can inform you that I see it my duty to take his position and continue the administration of the University. Your wish to hand it over to the Confederation of Freeports and the Ingenuus Research Group can't be fully agreed upon as the current situation within Omicron Delta and the Core takes to much attention. A complete integration of the station and her assets would cause way to much difficulties, but I can assure you that I will use my influence to continue a probable promotion, when the situation around will be more stable or the resources for an integration will be available.

Greetings, Doctor,

I am sorry for the loss of Eli Starweather. He had a lot to be proud of with Outer Rim, something that I've been proud to be a part of for a short time now.
As one medical professional to another, I can't agree with handing over Outer Rim to the Confederation of Freeports as it is NOT technically a Freeport and with the Core basically hunting anything CoF related, I think you're asking for trouble.
I can see that Dr. Samson and I are in agreement with this.

Having lectured at Cambridge Medical Institute many a time and building Med Force Enterprises from the ground up, I would like to submit my name for the position, at least, on an interim basis. Perhaps I could work with Dr. Samson so as to not overburden ourselves. [MFE]Med.Force.Three has been in the area for awhile and I'm willing to commission another ship as needed.
