The Luxury Liner Mackinac was forced to flee from the Nagano system yesterday as fighting between the Samura company and Blood Dragons escalates.
Henry Pines, Chairman of OSC has released the following statement.
"The Mackinac has indeed left the Nagano system in response to the increasing danger presented to the Liner and those currently aboard. The conflict between the Samura company and the Blood Dragons group has been under our constant scrutiny during the Mackinac's tenure in the system, which was heightened further during the Tomioka insurgency where I am proud to say the Liner and her crew performed the admirable task of tending to those wounded or fleeing the planetary conflict."
"To ensure the continued safety of our customers and crew, a series of protocols were established shortly after the Shetland's escape from Edinburgh that will allow our Liners to be cruise ready in under five minutes, should the worst occur.
We are pleased to say that these protocols were enacted perfectly, granting the Mackinac abundent time to flee Nagano before the fighting began. The Liner is now stationed in New Tokyo offering spectular views of the Planets Izu and Fuji, regular operation is scheduled to return later this afternoon."
