Here at OSC we pride ourselves with providing our clients with the best luxury accommodation whilst they travel aboard any of our vessels. Nevertheless we do understand that some passengers are on tighter budgets and may wish to seek out other forms of transport. This should not deny passengers of basic human comforts or dignity such as private spaces, food, adequate toilet facilities and beds for longer duration flights.
The OSC Humanitarian Aid Department usually concentrates on large scale natural and man-made disasters, offering transport and supplies when possible. However OSC has noticed a marked rise in haulers willing to trick or force clients to pay top money to travel in appalling conditions cramped on-board cargo ships with little to no facilities necessary to provide basic human rights. The scale of the issue is hard to quantify, but we believe any civilized, self-respecting government should see this as a direct abuse upon its people. Therefore we are reaching out to the house police and navy departments to crack down on those transporting people in craft unsuitable for the task.
