Diwrnod da, good day to those concerned and dealing with this case.
I am contacting you concerning a matter of grave importance to the people of Her Majesty, the reputation of the Kingdom of Bretonia and the fate of an economy that is already straining under the burden of the conflict with Gallia.
My family was born and bred within the system of Poole, and for many years we have worked under the employ of Planetform as Flourine miners. Concerns began around three years ago when our managers stopped the practice of raising our contractual salaries, and then even more so in the second year when our salaries were negotiated downwards. There was a new influx of employees in the region our managers claimed, and as they were willing to work the same jobs for much less we had little choice. We capitulated.
Recently however, the situation has grown dire. The Cymraeg people situated across the various stations in the Poole system have become economically destitute - barely able to afford suitable living conditions due to the increasing downward pressure on regional wages whilst, of course, inflation increases along with the rest of the Kingdom. This was startlingly unusual, and only began to make sense once the follow information was sent to us by a Cymraeg who was travelling through Libertonian space.
An advertisement or buy price posted at a Slave market for slaves to be brought to Methyr-Tydfill Station - the pieces of the betrayal to the Cymraeg people fell quickly into place after this was distributed. Planetform has been importing human labour from across Sirius into the region, and of course the people who suffer are these Slaves and the local Cymraeg people.
I call upon the Bretonian government to answer this crime against Her Majesty's people on these grounds:
1. As a breach of Articles 3.2 and 3.2.7 of the Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law.
2. As a inhumanitarian act against those who were confied to destitution by third parties and the exploitation of third party peoples.
3. As an inhumane and exploitative act of the Cymraeg people - who have served her Majesty and the Board of Planetform for many years dutifully.
I can speak on behalf of the Cymraeg people that a sense of betrayal and uproar has permeated those living within the 'Poole' system; and it is in the interests of our Kingdom that this is addressed before tensions rise to critical levels.
I, and the inhabitants of Poole, eagerly await to see your actions and response to this crisis and have faith that her Majesty's representatives will act in a decisive and remedial manner.
i advise you look into the matter and make some kind of statement to appease the Cymraeg peoples. They ain't the type to sit idly by, cwtch up and let themselves get rolled over. Your decision has a major impact on what may happen next.
The Bretonian government's silence on the matter is disconcerting and raises the question of whether it respects and cares for its people or not. The Cymraeg people are considering escalating this case to civil and criminal court; and failing that taking matters into their own hands.
We truly hope it does not have to come to this as we feel no ill-will to her majesty, yet the Cymraeg shall fight to be treated with fairness and the representation in this house they deserve.
It is with a heavy heart that we see the beloved Majesty's government act decide to respond with such inaction. Perhaps you do not take the plight of the Cymraeg population seriously. Perhaps it is that you do not care for the lives of the people you represent and serve. Perhaps even... you are in league with Planetform's Management and you see gain in the economic subjugation of the Cymraeg. Whatever the case, we are left with little choice but to take action on the matter ourselves.
This channel shall remain open for whenever Bretonian officials find their senses once more.
