Imagine if we had realtime active and passive radar. a lot of utility ship types would arise. you could know the location of an enemy and the direction they're coming from. inital attacks would have to be more tactical, as well as defence lines. long range weapons that target using radar. but alas, we don't but if only. can you think of anything else?

not exactly what i was looking for. i was thinking more along the lines of "what else would radar be usefull for freelancer?

Well would be good to have something like that... Lets say ships in some distance from you would show on map or something like thats. Its a pity its not really possible (I guess)
